What I dont understand is why dont they just make the verified portal modes be able to host locally for solo players or multiple people on the same network and creating a seperate xp and unlock system. It would relieve the server load and let people in al parts of the game have less annoyance and stress. And they can create this. No doubt about it, would make a lot of people happy.
Because they're lazy and don't care about players—they've already made their money.
After what we're seeing now, we can only say that the developers have zero clue what they're doing. They're changing their vision of Battlefield into Call of Duty, butchering all the game elements that motivated players to buy their product. They lied from the beginning about what this title would be, and with each update it only gets worse.
Let them play Battlefield 3 or 4 (real Battlefield), and let them compare those titles to their shell called Battlefield 6.
