the ziplines on Tsuru Reef

Why ziplines instead of elevators? I don’t get it.

    It's pretty obvious that:

    1. the elevator has been removed in lore and the zipeline is the cable;
    2. ziplines are better for gameplay, elevator only appeal to players who camp the doors.

    Cut corners? Is that what we call better design now?

    I hated the elevators in BF4, they were glorified coffins. The ziplines play much better, and heck, how many movies has it been where the spy/cop/soldier uses the cables to get in? Better gameplay and a cinematic look? It's a win-win.

    This is post is nonsense, as others said, the elevators was removed and its cable it’s the one you use, pax armata is attacking and you modify things to defend the area

    Reviving someone who’s been shot in the head by an LMG using a defibrillator isn't realistic either, but that’s game design, if it’s all 100% like real life you wouldn’t like to play it anymore because it’s boring😅

  • Good question.  I think BF Studios lost elevator technology.

    In Portal Custom, some creators have created elevators, but they can be somewhat clunky depending on implementation, and it ends up being a lot of fruitless work if no one plays their creation.
