It’s evidently clear that the devs prioritised a certain audience (cod players). The warning signs were there when the majority they invited were the most popular cod/warzone players to test the game and get their feedback. On the beta I was critical of Siege of Cairo and Iberian offensive for being too small but shrugged it off as it was the beta and was confident the other maps on release would be a lot better. Couldn’t have been more wrong.
The movement I 100% agree is rediculous and not battlefield I have mentioned this before. And yet those same “streamers” wanted faster movement. I really don’t see much change coming as the devs are oblivious to any feedback that’s given by actual battlefield players.
As for the skins yeah it’s just a copy and paste of cod which we were promised no tacky non realistic skins, turned out to be a load of bs.
Finally what summed it up the most for me was the release of Redsec. Literally copy and paste of warzone. Absolutely pathetic.
I personally feel it’s backfired on them heavily as those same so called “streamers” are not playing battlefield now and haven’t for the last 3 months, and now have lost some actual loyal battlefield veterans. I have been playing since battlefield 3 when my friend got me into it. And absolutely fell in love with it. Now it’s just a cod knockoff. Very sad times.
