I agree with that. Idk why they chose to make a support/medic hybrid. I guess so they could reserve assault as the CoD like class with the stim that makes you tank damage and run faster type **bleep**.
This game looks like BF, plays like CoD, with the TTK of Halo. lol im exaggerating a bit but it sounds good to me lol
Honestly if they could just figure out wtf it is they are doing wrong with the TTK/TTD in these games I would be happy enough.
BF3 and 4 and BF1 did NOT feel this off. This is something I really started to notice with 5 and on. Something they do differently now is wrong. My guess they got a new guy working the net code. Cause it really seems server or net code related. I think the aggressive damage fall off emphasizes it too. Makes it seem worse than it likely is. Perhaps if they just toned down the damage fall off a bit it would feel much better. But as of now, anything over 50 meters seems to just tank damage. Regardless if I use an SMG, Assault rifle/Carbine or a LMG. The only guns that feel consistent are the snipers.
Anything else over 50 meters feels like im shooting frozen peas out of my barrel at it. They tank 8 hits and run off behind cover to heal. It didnt feel this bad during the beta. That's another reason why I think its the net code/servers they are using. Maybe even the tick rate, idk what tick rate this games runs on, I would assume 60 at minimum.
