The gun 'class' balancing in bf6 is just bad full stop. Too many guns just feel the same and because engagement distances are nearly always so close, they can't balance out guns by range so you often get the silliness of LMGs beating smgs at close range, and smgs deleting people with ease an 'long range'. To be fair though, how do you differentiate a gun with 500rpm and one with 600, with the same calibre ammo?
