Uniform Soldier Aiming is broken
Please help me understand something. As I understand it, uniform soldier aiming exists to ensure that sensitivity feels the same across a hipfire and different scopes/zoom levels. I've tested the following:
- Uniform infantry aiming enabled.
- A zoom sensitivity coefficient of 0 / 133 / 178 and 300.
- Ironsight, 1x, 1.25x, 3x, 4x and 6x scopes.
The way I've tested it, is going to the testing range and standing on the blue piece of tape. I look towards the shooting range without using ADS, with my crosshair on the separator next to the little helmet. I turn around 360 degrees and measure how far my mouse has travelled. I repeat the same process, with ADS held down.
Yet it's only the 1x sight that gives me the same sensitivity. All other scopes, including the ironsight require a much larger distance to travel the same amount of distance. While increasing the zoom sensitivity coefficient increases the zoom sensitivity, it is still nowhere near the hipfire sensitivity.
I'm pretty sure that this is not how it's supposed to be.
