Wait Time!

Question

I have six people on each team,&nbsp; and I decided to test it today and went to go get something to eat up in the kitchen.Come back down and it's still sitting on the screen waiting for game.&nbsp; People have left, it's not like it used to be where there'll be some gamers on there.Ready to play and you just get the bots on there to start.&nbsp; Now, I don't know what's going on, but you don't start the game unless you have all real gamers on there. Two more gamers just got added.And the game hasn't started yet.&nbsp; Ever since your season two started,&nbsp; before the game starts usually the characters sitting on that ammo box.Now it's not even there and one map .&nbsp; No wonder your llosing and players

Agree - if they just fill it with bots and get the game going then people will fill in as the game goes along. Nobody wants to waste 10 mins waiting for the exact number of players on each team - we don't have enough play time available to waste it in lobbies. get back to the old &nbsp;mechanic - I've not played since Season 2 came out because of this wasted time in lobbies

DICE seem to have changed bot backfill on servers not running the new map. For example, if you click on the Breakthrough tile, bots will be added, but not enough to start the game. Click on the Contaminated tile, and bots will backfill to start the game, even if you only have a handful of real players.

I guess they want to save server costs.

This is particularly painful in smaller markets where bot backfill is necessary to play any game. Of course, persistent servers would solve this problem...

Your right.&nbsp; It's mainly for the new map.&nbsp; It's like dice just want to play there new map all the time now. When you want to do custom search it makes you wait for a long time.&nbsp; As I'm typing you this response I been waiting 15 mins so far with players on the Manhattan bridge map for breakthrough and still waiting.&nbsp; Contaminated when you pick that map it goes right to it.&nbsp; Other maps with game play you wait forever domination, rush, death match,&nbsp; and etc.&nbsp;&nbsp;
