Forum Discussion
I read your entire post, twice, and I still don't see an actual tangible complaint. You repeatedly whined about "people who buy battle passes" and nothing else.
"I don't care about the game since November"
Then why are you here making a purely emotional post?
"As you know S2 is a complete joke"
As "who" knows? It's not out yet. I have not played the maps. I "know" nothing of the sort.
"Battlefield games will unfortunately not be good and this is the 3rd time they have failed to bring us a good Battlefield game and I highly doubt anyone will even wait another time"
You keep speaking as if "everyone" agrees with you, yet you're just repeating personal opinions without any specifics. I thoroughly enjoyed the entirety of BFV. I have thoroughly enjoyed BF6 for 4 months now. That may be because I play the game like ... a FPS. I get in, have fun shooting people while working on improving my aim.. and if the mechanics and balance is good (which they are).. I can do it for hundreds of hours on end without "NEEDING!!" "new content".
And, considering you're making posts about "DICE can't make good skins" I'm guessing that you're measuring the game by some completely different yardstick.. if "skins" are the carrot you need to "look forward to", I hear some other pseudo-FPSs offer lots of choices on dressing up your character and/or gun.

The amount of content in the game is small. The game tries to be like COD. vehicle physics is trash , balance is trash , skins are trash , maps are trash , UI is trash . They had LABS to fix it and not fix it after a year. I bought the game because I believed it would be good but in the end it wasn't. I quit in November and I just came to write to you because it seems like you still think something will be good lol
Don't you understand, they moved on to work on BF7 already. They got all the money from us. No one has to agree with me but I'm bringing facts here. All I've listed now are facts
I know very well what a good Battlefield game should be. BF6 is not like that and you're enjoying it, good for you, I'm not against it, it's just factually not a good Battlefield game- ShortyPayne1 month agoNew Rookie
Nothing you said is "factual". You should look up what the word "fact" means. You may have it confused with "personal unsubstantiated opinion", which is its antonym.
All you're doing is whining about "X is trash, Y is trash". That's the definition of an opinion.
"There are 11 maps, currently, in Battlefield 6" < is a fact.
"I love/hate map X" < is an opinion.
"I hate map X because of ____" < is an argument. You haven't even made an argument, let alone "brought facts". You've just called everything "bad"; = personal opinion (and a very vague one at that).
If you "quit in November", I ask again (as others have in this thread) - WHY are you here NOW?
People don't randomly go on forums to emotionally complain about something they quit 3+ months ago. There are only two explanations:- You did not quit in November, you played the game right before writing this post, something happened (e.g. you got slaughtered), and you're now raging about it.
- You did quit in November, so you're here to complain about the game based on the only thing we know about Season 2 - skins. Which, honestly, is sadder than #1. If that's the case, why not go play some dress up game like Sims, so you can get your fill on virtual accessorizing. Or a good RPG. Why are you bothering with it in a FPS of all things?
"They got all the money from us"
Again, the "us". I paid $70 for this game. I've played it 700 or so hours, and still love it. I'm more than happy spending that again, for similar return. All the extra maps and weapons have been free, just as they were in BFV.
BF3/BF4 were $60, plus the extra $40 for "premium" (since both maps and weapons were LOCKED behind a paywall). I played both of those less than I have already played BF6.
I know very well what a good Battlefield game should be
Yet another opinion. You don't seem to get that everyone has different preferences. What you may think is a "good Battlefield", may be a "horrible Battlefield" to someone else.
Overall, your whining is SO over the top ("it's a scam" < ..... again, do you know what a scam is?) that even people who may agree with some of your opinions have nothing to latch onto.

The Sims....
What a fantastic recommendation!

It's just hard for them to stand by the side of me exposing them, so they bring me some idiot who thinks he's some kind of genius.

It's people like yourself defending this project, which are a part of the problem.
The mechanics are factually in a bad place. TTK, netcode and matchmaking are three of the biggest issues, causing a lack of hit registration coherency between platforms, endless spikes of unexpected server lagging, and issues with weapon useablity and team balancing, resulting in short, rapid fire COD style matches, rather than drawn out baffles.
It's been documented that they were trying to work on these issues, but we've not had any updates nor improvements issued out yet, other than some back and forth tweaks to no avail.
Development has even responded to players about their feedback, but to not much enthusiasm, on X.
Season 2 can at least be judged big portion by what they have told us we are getting. Two maps, temporary modes, a new vehicle and weapon.
BF1 and V charged for DLC back in the day, but it was 4-6 maps each time, more weapons, vehicles or behemoths.
This in comparison is a tawdry amount of most likely the same kind of content. They've not acknowledged (yet, hopefully) any of the long term improvements. If anything, it looks like time and effort has gone into small time temporary modes.
The maps are small and boring, the UI crashes regularly, and the battle pass isn't worth paying for, as it's all just AI generated stickers, and brightly coloured unrealistic skins.

MjrWalker Another person who doesn't understand the difference between "fact" and "opinion".
I have zero netcode issues. Mechanics are fine. TTK is perfectly fine. You may not like them, but that's a preference.
Matchmaking is the only complaint of yours that I agree with, because of the lack of options to control region/ping/etc. filters, and the utterly pointless "let's add bots!" algorithm. If they got rid of bots in public lobbies entirely, 80% of my matchmaking complaint disappears.
They are also slow at fixing issues, I'll give you that one. The game does still have a bunch of visual bugs in the UI and what not. But as long as it doesn't impact my gameplay, it's not the end of the world.
BF1 and V charged for DLC back in the day, but it was 4-6 maps each time, more weapons, vehicles or behemoths.
False, BFV did not charge for DLC. All the extra maps, vehicles, and weapons were free. Just like they are in BF6. One of the reasons I was happy with both purchases.
I don't give a crap about the battle pass or skins. If you guys want to give EA cash for pointless cosmetics, you do you. This is a FPS. I couldn't care less what camo (that I can't see) my character is wearing, or what useless trinket you got dangling on your gun. If you want that kind of nonsense, I hear COD's skins have gotten even more absurd in the past decade.. go try your luck there.
For me, or ones like me, Season 2 will be judged on how decent the maps are. If even one of those makes my regular rotation (I play 3~4 maps), I'm counting it a plus. If not... they are free.
