When bullets don't go where you are aiming, the game feels unresponsive. There are other ways to discourage full auto at range, making bullets go sideways out the barrel isn't a good one. I'd much rather they increase recoil across the board to encourage tapping instead. At least that way you'd have something visible and intuitive.
