At this point, I only hope for a BF clone possibly created by Embark Studios in the near future...

BF has never been a simulator of any sort. BF used to have nice, gigantic (by today's standards ofc) vehicular maps and city maps. Right now, five flags on the map and no space for aerial gameplay. BF6 is a disappointment for someone who played or used to play older BFs. Zero fun factor without owning a server, organizing mixes for many players, and playing on nicely balanced maps with different pacing and some strategic depth. 4 studios and at launch, pretty much a miss. The marketing team has been doing the best possible job with this title. Battle Royale launched without solos and trios, no proximity chat... all the fun and traction gone again. I haven`t launched a single player mode yet, and perhaps BF studios should drop it for coop missions with a little bit of storytelling. Dunno, but more could have been squeezed with this franchise.
