What is Battlefield ?

This is not meant to sound negative.

I consider myself a very observant person & this is the first Battlefield I have played since I stopped playing BF4 (of which I only played about 250 hours) because i just wanted a change, so I stopped playing all multiplayer games for about a decade to get back to my own play style and not play like everyone else, which is basically what you learn to do to counter other players actions in these games.

Battlefield is Not Call Of Duty, I used to play a lot of CoD up until Black Ops 1
but now BF is faster paced & has a lot of small CQC maps & game modes just like it & has near zero bullet diversion just like it.

Do people remember Battlefield 2 ? Do people remember Battlefield Bad Company 2 ?

Battlefield is Not Rainbow Six Siege, I used to play this too until it was destroyed by cheaters for me.
but now BF has that games weapon charms & weapon skins.

I remember when a team looked like a team, not a team of mercs all dressed in a different uniforms like it is now, you really need to play soft core so the players have a coloured dorito above their head so you know it's not a team member you're about to shoot at, cos it's not easy to remember two teams different uniforms in a split second before you shoot, it's called P.I.D (Positive Identification) something that is now so hard to do in Battlefield, even playing Hardcore, you have no dorito so you have to learn the uniforms, how many uniforms are there exactly ? More are being dropped every week in the store !!

If a former CoD dev is now working on Battlefield, what becomes of the feel of Battlefield ?

I'm sure the devs love their gaming and probably play things like CoD & Siege, but does BF have to become those games too, as I see it now BF is just a modern day mash up of all different games, nothing unique or outstanding.

Battlefield used to be in a league of it's own, now it's hard to recognize it.

What if they introduced stamina ? could it be a way to control the frenetic pace Battlefield has become ?  with it's sliding ____jumping____running_____sliding, it's just catering more to the younger generation that play this way because it's the only way to counter the way others play.

I think the dev team has lost sight of what made Battlefield unique.
