Why is battle field 6 100$

I tried to get the basic version for 60$ and it wouldn’t let me. Says it’s no longer available. Made me pay 100$. Crazy considering there’s tons of good free to plays. I would have happily payed the 60 because I love battle field, but paying 100 put a bad taste in my mouth. Very disappointed with ea for this.
