I’m on Xbox and get several deaths each match via magical bullets that follow me around corners.
Most of my deaths however are due to horrible sound design. As in Enemy tanks magically rolling up and just appearing 5 feet away without making any sounds. My first hint of an enemy tank being near is being ran over by the tank or being blown up by the tank from point blank range.
Let’s also not forget to mention the fact that Enemy footsteps are non existent 90% of the time. I can hop in BF2042 right now and reliably and consistently hear enemy footsteps. So it’s NOT my set up.
A lot of the hate for DICE is coming from the fact that gamers are just getting sick and tired of dying because we are not hearing enemy vehicles and enemy footsteps. Dying without warning is enraging when we are used to hearing enemy vehicles and footsteps on other Battlefield games. Yeah, the hate for DICE is warranted right now.
Idk man, I feel like there are many out there oblivious to what is even going on. I say anything at all half the time and from the community I always get maybe its a skill issue.......
My response to that is pretty much, Yes because my skill or lack there off controls the magic disappearing bullets during the moments when I am hitting a player. Again played a bit today and audio issues and net code issues are still there, that doesn't stop them from adding WINTER to the maps yet go on to ignore the issues.
It is just insane to me its not even just this game ether. I have gone 10 or more years without playing a solid multiplayer shooter. YEAH you have Rainbow six Siege or Valorant if you like that style ( I personally do not) but other then that everything has been absolutely TRASH. Plagued with Net code issues or audio. I gave COD a try for the 2019 MW I absolutely hated it as THEY never fixed anything since their first Multiplayer game... COD and BF are my style of games though but I have always hated COD and always get Battlefield....but now they are all garbage every single multiplayer shooter game is garbage now
