Battlefield 6 = CPU stress simulator

So i did the fix (User.cfg) and worked well before the patch , now in games it spikes again to the point i look at my temps and im like Hell no! Is like running CPU stress simulator. Why this issue hasn't been addressed now. I want to play but i don't want to start a fire either lol.

Did you guys found any other fixes beside User.cfg ?

Trying to help a mate who has the same - i9-9900k, 32GB RAM, RTX2080. Flat out cant play conquest or bigger maps as it drops to below 10 FPS. Smaller maps seem ok for a bit but gets mad stutters and drops. Tried All settings, user.cfg file, nothing makes much of a difference. Only thing different on low settings GPU is barely crack 30% usage, while CPU is going ballistic. Tried everything, all the way to full system restore / fresh drivers across the system... still bad.

Was able to play beta without any issues at all... something between then and now is causing it.

Is very obviously a major issue here - and theres so many people posting about it. Battlefield Studios - you guys should prioritise this issue.

  • I have a 5700X3d and a 7900xt and the game ran buttery smooth during the beta. Constant 140+fps in 4k.

but now on launch, my frames drop to 90-100, which would be fine, but the 1% lows drop to like 30.  But worst of all, the cpu usage spikes like crazy. It’s 60% util just in the menus and then ramps up to 98% while I’m game. Game gets super stuttery and all sorts of input delay issues arise. Also start having bad audio bugs when it gets going. Something definitely happened between beta and launch. I tried running the game on all low settings, and my gpu usage is like 30% but my CPU is still at 100%. I tried capping my frame rates to 60 and it actually made it worse with my cpu usage going to 105%. Thankfully I have a good AIO and my temps haven’t passed 60-65 C, but that usage is absolutely terrible. Tried running on my non-4k monitor and had the same issue.

i also tried the user.cfg fix and that did nothing. Just did a full reinstall of the game to see if that help, though it’s unlikely.

really hoping they fix it asap bc i love the game but it feels absolutely **bleep**ty to play now :/

  • Unforunately mate, it will not help. I already did reinstall, and it made worse, what initially have around 100FPS on 1440P. Now I am stuck with 40-59 fps and I already had it on a lower settings.

EA must fix this, otherwise, Player counts will drop, but the saddest part about it, some of the people are actually not having this issue.
