IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Error 0:85009S also occurs outside of multiplayer matches. I just received the exact same error while customizing my weapon in the main menu.
Could this be related to my EA account or a server-side issue rather than my PC?

I dont think it is account related, it seems to be a connection issue.
Can you make a hotspot with your phone (not connected to the router!) and use it instead of your normal ISP?

I tried, it didn't help.

Hello roishimon,
Thank you for this crucial update. The fact that Error 0:85009S occurs even while you are customizing weapons in the main menu heavily shifts the blame away from your local PC or match performance.
This type of disconnection strongly indicates a server-side session timeout or an authentication token mismatch. The EA server is simply losing track of your account's credentials in the background, regardless of whether you are in a match or not.
Given this new evidence, adjusting your local hardware settings further will not help.
Your best path forward is indeed what you suspected: testing with a completely different EA account to see if the issue is strictly tied to your specific EA ID.
Please post your DxDiag text file to the EA Forums. It contains all the necessary system logs for the development team at DICE to investigate why your account session is getting dropped at the server level.
Please jump to this link and check your connected accounts and devices:

Thank you for your help!
I've generated and saved the DxDiag.txt file as requested.
Could you please clarify exactly what I should do with this file now? Should I upload it here in this forum thread, or send it directly to EA Support or the DICE development team?
I just want to make sure it reaches the right people who can investigate my issue.
Thanks again!

Hello roishimon,
You can safely attach the DxDiag.txt file directly to this forum thread. I believe the EA Community Managers will review your log and decide whether to forward it to the Battlefield Studio team.
Regarding privacy, the DxDiag file does not contain any sensitive personal information. It does not include your real name, email, passwords, or location. It only lists your hardware specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM), driver versions, and recent Windows application crash logs.
If you are concerned about your Windows computer account name being visible in the file paths, you can open the text file and delete or replace your username before uploading it.
