Re: Game Crashes After Anticheat Splash Screen

Good day!

I have recently ran into an issues that does not allow me to play game.  After I hit play on steam I get the initial pop-up/splash screen that states it is "validating game environment" then "Starting EA javelin anticheat..." and finally "launching game" but then no game.

I do hear the fans in my PC spin up but then they ramp back down after a couple of seconds.

I have tried validating the game files and completely uninstalling/reinstalling the game.  I also installed the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable as suggest in a different post.  I am on the latest graphics driver.

I am unsure what else to try next so any suggestions would be helpful.  I was able to play the game in the past with no issues, but suddenly I was unable to launch the game.  I am not sure if it is tied to a game update etc. since I cannot recall exactly when this issue began.

Same thing happening on my rog ally x, got Microsoft support involved, redownloaded windows 11, uninstalled and reinstalled javelin, uninstalled abs reinstalled bf6 uninstalled and re installed ea app, cleared caches, cleared storage pools, (in total about 24 hours of troubleshooting) BF6 still does the same thing with the splash screen and will not launch. I’ve done some further research and I believe it could be because season 3 update released rank mode. Rank mode is only available to console players not PC. Maybe because of this forced platform capability PC players are struggling with launching BF6. That’s just a theory though. So if you feel like you’ve tried everything you probably have like I did and got nowhere.
