Bump. It would be nice if EA could at least acknowledge this since it's affecting so many ppl. I'd like to know if I should wait for a fix or just refund.

Bump. Hey EA can you at least acknowledge the issue please? Lots of things work for some ppl but I'm still unable to open the game. I've played every BF in the last 15 years but this one just will not let me

EA AntiCheat could not initialise properly because of how Windows mounts protected or virtualised volumes.

BF6 on Steam can't launch. Opens black screen then crashes

I launch the game from steam and it opens a black window and then crashes. Sometimes there is an event in Windows Event Viewer about javelin anti-cheat having a problem, sometimes there is not.

7800x3D CPU

32GB RAM

All of the followings didn't work

Reinstall the game and verify local files through steam
Update Windows
Update bios
Add bf6.exe, SP bf6.exe, and anticheat exe to exploit protection overrides in Windows security with every single setting disabled
Turn off motion smoothing in Nvidia app both globally and for bf6 specifically
Update GPU drivers
Update chipset drivers
Reinstall on the C drive
Run EA app as administrator
Clear EA app cache
Reinstall EA javelin anti-cheat
Completely uninstall and reinstall GPU drivers using DDU
Enable memory integrity and windows

This is the error I see in Windows Event Viewer when my game crashes upon launch. It's definitely an anticheat issue:

The description for Event ID 1 from source Application cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
EAAntiCheatService
The game bf6.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0x80000003
The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

After update 18.11 first time problem occur when joining server game crashes to windows without any error etc.

I can't even open the game. Haven't been able to since day one. It crashes the moment the game tries to open from steam.

Still waiting on EA to acknowledge the problem...
