Just like the other people have said...it is the ASRock App Shop. Uninstall it if you dont want the conflict.

Do people even read information completely anymore?

I saw the mention of this app and tried uninstalling it but it wasn't listed as an installed app/program and I never installed it.
Hence my workaround.
If you have a suggestion for a cleaner approach, I'd love to know.
So far so good btw. No issues with my PC and the game works perfectly.
