Steam overlay issues
I purchased on steam and every time i launch the game tells me i need to enable steam overlay to play the game. ive made sure its enabled globally and specifically for the game and it still dosent work. Ive also disabled overlays for all the other programs that have them incase it was a conflicting issue. ive went through all the normal steps like verify, reinstall and restart the pc with no luck. I7 265k, 32gb ram 3080 Aorus. This is the only game this happens on. Sometimes i can play a match, most times it crashes within 30 secs. Previous updates were stable since i have 19 hours on my steam. It would be a lot higher if the game would let me play it. Even more so since it worked good enough for me to buy the pro pass and now might not be able to even access it in time. Hopeful for a patch as I do not think this is a me issue. No overclocking. Any ideas please let me know.Packet losses
I downloaded free version of battlefield6 (Redsec) to see how it gows cause i wanted to buy the game. Everything runs smoothly in guntlet and battle royale regemes but when i played these modes from the free trial version i had terrible packet losses. So in short evrything is okay with redsec, but unplayable packet losses in breakthrough and other modes. My internet connection is stable, i've updated dravers and cleared cahce and other games are working without a problem. Can you please help me solve the problemHow do I talk to an EA advisor
I created an EA account after installing BF6. Game loaded up and once I clicked "start" I got an error saying that the steam overlay was not enabled. I then ensured the steam overlay in both the steam settings and game properties were enabled. They were. I then went on the EA website and tried to use the "contact us" button under "still having issues". I went through the process of providing the information and a screenshot of my issue. After clicking submit, it just prompts me to contact an EA advisor. How does this support process work? Do they send me an email? Is there some tab on the website I am supposed to be prompted to use to see the answer to my question. The lack of information in this process is unlike any game I've had to contact tech support for. Mouse input is broken, which ruins an otherwise well optimised game. This looks to be getting confused with poor frame timing in a lot of threads, but controller input is unaffected. For reference, I easily average over 100fps even on the bigger maps, but panning the camera with mouse input makes the game feel like it's running at 15fps despite no drops. In-game reporting confirms it's running perfectly, as CPU/GPU are always rendering within 10fps of eachother. Connect a controller though? Buttery smooth camera panning, and easy to track enemies. No hitches or stutters, just butter. I've tried: - All polling rates, from 125hz up to 4000hz - Toggling raw input on/off - Enabling/disabling Nvidia reflex - Changing USB ports, changing to different mice, wired/wireless - USB power saving etc all turned off - I even tried a driver/Nvidia CP restore, but as controller is super smooth, this was a long shot in the first place Unfortunately the game is unplayable using a mouse on PC due to this. It's next to impossible to track targets, and you quickly get a headache from the micro stuttering when panning. The effect is very similar to Helldivers 2 on PC, when you turn off 'Mouse Smoothing', as that game has serious issues with raw mouse input. Happy to hear suggestions on how to fix this. Mice tried: - Keychron M4 - Logitech G305 - Logitech G604 - Razer Naga Hyperspeed - AttackShark M1 I've also tried on an entirely different PC, same results. OLED as always exhacerbates the issue too, due to the awesome pixel response times. I fear many won't see it due to slower LCDs. Specs are: 5700x3d 3060ti 8GB 32GB DDR4 3600 CL16 AW3423DW (Gsync module version) This is on a fresh Windows install, up to date drivers (tried DDU as well to be sure), but honestly since it's running beautifully with a controller, this looks to be purely a mouse input issue. No other games exhibit this issue other than... Helldivers 2, and Battlefield V. BF1 is butter on mouse, as are BF3 and BF4. Helldivers 2 can be fixed by turning on mouse smoothing in game. Since the previous update 1.1.1.5 I have not been able to play a full match without the game crashing. I have tried a number of things to fix the issue. I own the game on Steam but I'll include my EA ID as well. I would have attempted to update my BIOS but it is already up-to-date. Below are the fixes I have attempted. I did some stuff to fix the "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED or DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG" error as well because it happened a few times when attempting to fix the no error crashes to desktop. Fixes attempted: -Uninstall BF6(restart PC)/Reinstall BF6(after restart) -Roll-back NVIDIA Drivers/Reinstall latest drivers -Disable XMP/Edit MT/s -Lower graphic settings -Update and repair Windows -Run Dxdiag to find issues with DX12 (No problems were found) -Install DX12 drivers again from Windows (Just in case) Additional Information: EA ID / Steam ID: Ollie-Senpai / Ollie OS Version: 26100.7171 GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB GPU Driver: 581.80 Date/Time the issue occurred: 11/13/25 - Current Brief summary of your bug: Game runs fine and then will randomly freeze for a brief second and then crash to desktop with no error. Type of issue: Crash Mode where it occurred & Map: RedSec & MP on Escalation, Conquest, Rush, Breakthrough on all Maps. Any other errors: "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED or DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG" was also present but has not been a consistent error since rolling back and reinstalling NVIDIA drivers. I am posting here to express serious concern regarding the efficiency of the account appeal process. When I submitted my account appeal, the system explicitly stated that I would receive a response within 24 hours. It has now been over 48 hours, and I have received absolutely no update or response email. My account has been wrongfully banned, which is significantly impacting my ability to play the game and my rights as a customer. I understand that the support team may be busy, but for a process that promises a 24-hour turnaround, having more than double that time pass with zero communication is extremely frustrating. I would like to know: Is my appeal currently being processed? Why is the actual response time significantly exceeding the promised 24 hours? How much longer should I expect to wait for a definitive resolution? I urgently require clarification and hope to have my account access restored as soon as possible.
