Battlefield 6 Steam Suddenly Won’t Get Past Splash Screen
I have been playing for a couple months no problem, having fun, but suddenly, this Monday the 5th I noticed that it no longer was able to launch the game. I would see the splash screen, text at the bottom changes, says game will launch, and then nothing. I then went on to try every solution I could find online. It seems like a lot of people had my problem when it came out, but none of the things that worked for them worked for me. And I didn't notice any comments by anyone to whom this happened suddenly, as was my case, so I thought it was worth posting. I've spent hours trying the following solutions : launched in admin mode reverted to past nvidia driver : 591:59 exploit protection : added bf6 and anticheat launcher .exe files with all options checked off. disabled my bitdefender as far as I could deleted and reinstalled (now going to try reinstalling in different location) tried reinstalling windows even I've reinstalled the EA App verified game files ensured smooting is off on nvidia deleted and reinstalled DirectX and Windows 2015-2022 x64 and x86 tried creating a new local windows user account, to try the game out there. still no I've tried other stuff too.. went pretty deep with chatgpt. but this is driving me nuts. My modest specs : ryzen 7 5700X RTX3060 B450 Gaming Plus max 32gb ddr4Can we get some sort of time frame for fixes? Or at least an acknowledgement?
Can we get some kind of acknowledgement that support is even checking these threads? Can we get fixes for the game that doesn't require us gimping our GPU, CPU, And XMP/AMD EXPO (Ram speeds)? This probably includes the infamous DX errors this game is riddled with. Any time frame on getting hit reg fixed? You know, those moments of shooting an opponent in the back just for them to turn around and smoke you with what looks like 1 bullet ? Any plans on fixing the Fire camping that takes place in REDSEC? That's allowing people to hangout in the fire without taking damage ? What about what we were sold with Portal? Full progession with bots and friends? Being able to back fill lobbies with bots and enjoying with friends is part of why I purchased this game. Can we let the community decide on the game changes ? Not streamers? We paid our money, it's about time for some sort of acknowledgement. EA_Leeuw ??174Views9likes8CommentsNot getting Veteran Rewards
I know that EA said they reissued rewards about two weeks ago, and I also noticed the related discussions in the forums. That is why I am only raising this discussion just now, I want to make sure there really is an issue. Unless my understanding of the veteran rewards is incorrect, isn’t it supposed to apply to anyone who purchased any previous Battlefield game? I have checked my in‑game messages and the reward lock status multiple times and followed the help instructions to check, but that did not work. The rewards have not been delivered. EA Help Team told me I should come here, so here I am. Please help me resolve this issue. Thanks. Attached are my reward lock status and in‑game messages.Solved176Views1like9CommentsBFC via EA app not work
I purchased battlefield6 phantom edition through Steam earlier. Recently, I wanted to receive the remaining rewards from battle pass, and I have an EA Play membership, so I purchased 1,100 BFC through the EA App. I paid $10 including tax, and my order number is #1006451552456. Please help me resolve this issue as soon as possible. I can provide payment screenshots or additional information if needed. Thank you.EA Javelin Anticheat encountered an error. I just redownloaded the game for the first time since launch and am now being hit with "EA Javelin Anticheat encountered an error. Please restart your PC.: C:\Program Files\EA\AC\EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe(7)(1)"" - I've restarted my pc many times - I've done manual reinstalls of Javelin - Redownloaded BF6 twice The small splash screen that says its starting Javelin is the farthest I get. I haven't been able to get farther then thatPacket Loss and Latency Issues on Large Scale Battle Maps/Gamemodes
I’ve been experiencing constant packet loss and latency issues mainly when playing the large scale battle maps/game modes but when switching to the smaller scale maps the issue is gone completely. It’s like playing the game in slow motion basically when I just try to deal with it on the bigger maps/modes. I’m running the game on a gaming laptop with a 13th gen i7, rtx 4070 and 16 GB RAM. When the packet loss/latency issues aren’t happening (rarely) I’m running the game smoothly with around 100+ fps and my connection is completely fine (tested other games and conducted internet speed tests). I've posted about this on Reddit and have found that many others are experiencing this issue as well even with better PC set ups also. Hopefully this gets fixed, pretty bummed out that I can’t experience the craziness of the large scale battles BF is known for. EDIT: A work around for this issue for me is the community servers. I’ve played large scale maps and battles with little to no issues. Hopefully this helps you guys out. Still sucks that we can’t play the official servers without having to deal with this.44KViews290likes128CommentsAnyone still missing rewards from the Open Beta and the 2042 event?
After a lengthy exchange with EA Help, they recommended I make a post about this issue on the forums. From what I understand, this is by no means a new issue. Essentially, during the Open beta, I successfully completed all the challenges for cosmetics in BF6. In addition, I completed the entire rewards track for BF2042's Road to Battlefield 6 event. When I received BF6 for Christmas, I was expecting to find all my rewards, but instead I had none of them. Some things to note: My EA and Steam accounts have been linked long before I did either of these events, and all of my Battlefields have been bought and played under these accounts. I received the messages on BF6 that I had the rewards from both the Open Beta and 2042, but when I opened them, had no option to go to them or redeem them. In-game rewards remained locked. I'm hoping this post will help get this issue resolved.113Views5likes9Comments[BF6] Share Your Experience: Hitreg, Rubberbanding, and Connection Icons
Hey everyone 👋 We’re taking a closer look at reports related to hit registration issues, rubberbanding, and how the current connection warning icons behave during matches. Some players have mentioned that these issues occur consistently for them, and we’d love to gather more real-world in-game examples to help us understand what’s happening in different situations. If you experience these issues regularly and are willing to share screenshots or short videos, your contribution would be extremely helpful. What We’re Looking For 1. Rubberbanding or connection-feeling issues If you see warning icons frequently or experience movement stutters/teleporting: Please share: A screenshot or short video If you’re sharing screenshots, make sure to attach them to your post -- do not embed them. This helps ensure they display correctly for everyone. With the Simple Performance Overview enabled With the Full Network Overlay enabled These help us understand whether the in-game icons match what’s actually happening with your performance or connection at that moment. 2. Consistent hit registration problems If hitreg regularly feels off for you: Please share: A short video showing the moment(s) where it happens With both overlays enabled (Simple Performance + Network Overlay) This allows us to distinguish between true network issues and client-side performance issues that can sometimes appear similar. How to Enable the Overlays Below are the steps for both PC and console players. 🎮 Console (PS5 / Xbox Series) Simple Performance Overview Open Settings in the game menu. Go to Graphics. Scroll to Performance Overlay (sometimes under “Advanced”). Turn it On, choosing either: Simple, or Advanced/Extended (if available) Network Overlay Open Settings. Go to Network, or Gameplay → Advanced, depending on your layout. Enable Network Performance Overlay or Network Graph. Once enabled, you’ll see indicators like latency, packet loss, and connection stability. 🖥️ PC Simple Performance Overview Open Settings. Go to Graphics. Scroll to Advanced. Enable Performance Overlay. Choose Simple or Advanced/Extended. Full Network Overlay Open Settings. Go to Network or Gameplay → Advanced. Enable Network Performance Overlay or Network Graph. Optional PC console command method (Only if you’ve enabled the console in settings.) Go to Settings → System, enable Command Console. Press ~ (tilde) in-game. Use the command: PerfOverlay.DrawFps 1 To turn it off: PerfOverlay.DrawFps 0 How to Share Your Screenshots/Videos Please upload your clips using: Google Drive OneDrive Dropbox Imgur Streamable YouTube (unlisted is fine) Important: Ensure your link is set to public or “Anyone with the link can view.” Private links cannot be opened. If you’re sharing screenshots, make sure to attach them to your post -- do not embed them. This helps ensure they display correctly for everyone. What Happens After You Share We may reply with follow-up questions or ask if you are open to trying a couple of small tests (like adjusting FPS caps or checking CPU usage). This is completely optional and intended only to help narrow down the causes. We’re not making promises about outcomes -- the goal here is simply to gather clear, consistent examples so we can better understand what players are experiencing. How to Participate When posting your report, please include: A public link to your screenshot/video A short description of what happened Your platform (PC, PS5, Xbox Series) Whether the issue is consistent/reproducible for you Thanks to everyone who takes the time to share examples -- it genuinely helps move these investigations forward and improves the experience for all players.8.5KViews19likes252Comments
