Re: BF6 Crash on Launch, Black Screen

Hello,

I'm experiencing a launch issue with Battlefield 6 on PC.

System:
Windows 11 Education 25H2 (Build 26200.8737)
AMD Ryzen 5 5600
AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT
16 GB RAM
Game installed through EA App
UEFI enabled
Secure Boot enabled

Problem:
- EA Javelin Anti-Cheat starts.
- A small Battlefield 6 window appears.
- The game immediately closes without any error.

Event Viewer:
EA Javelin AntiCheat
Failed retrieving service path.
Service Control Manager
Event ID: 7023
Service: EAAntiCheatService|
The EAAntiCheatService exists and points to: C:\Program Files\EA\AC\eaanticheat.gameservice.exe
The service remains in START_PENDING instead of RUNNING.

Things I've already tried:
- Reinstalled Battlefield 6 multiple times
- Installed through EA App
- Reinstalled EA Anti-Cheat
- Verified game files
- Updated GPU drivers
- Secure Boot enabled
- UEFI enabled
- Ran SFC /SCANNOW
- Ran DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
- Disabled Flight Signing
- Removed Riot Vanguard completely
- Disabled overlays
- Rebooted multiple times

None of these steps fixed the issue. I also have crash dump files available. Has anyone experienced this issue on Windows 11 Build 26200?

I have the same issue but it straight freezes my whole pc for few minutes when i try to launch the game and crashes with no error msg

Hi!
Because of BF6, in the BIOS, during secure boot, the motherboard registration must also be enabled. More precisely, (for me it was like this):
I had to change Secure Boot - from Enabled to - Custom. This will allow the game to run. This does not pose any security or risk to the motherboard!

I am having the excat same issue. Launch the game it runs anticheat, then opens game in a window. it shuts down and takes me back to the E.A app. BIOS secure boot, eveything else is the same I have not changed any settings since playing earlier in the week.

Reinstall windows 11. Complete Wipe. That helped for me. Don't forget to back up what you need.

Open adrenaline software and use default hypr-rx settings for bf6 I had same issue during 2 days and finale I fixed that problem with adrenaline software but today a new issue came again I tried to join conquest any map but loading screen never ending after 45 sec got time out error problems never ending since this game first appear 😂😂

Same issue for me, the game literally worked yesterday and I don't think that I updated anything, super frustrating.
-- Update:
I rolled back my amd gpu drivers to 26.5.2 and I'm able to get into the game. Fully uninstall your drivers and reinstall this version.
