Black Screen on Match Disconnect - Must force kill game

I Googled this issue only to stumble on this thread that was apparently archived as "old" less than 2 weeks ago for some reason, but this issue is alive and well - [Old] Black Screen when exiting match (report) | EA Forums - 13004488

When disconnecting from in-progress matches I the game goes black. Nothing loads, no sounds, no keyboard navigation, tabbing out/in doesn't do anything. The only fix is to kill the game from task manager. Extremely frustrating.

Win 11 Pro 25H2 64x, Intel i7-14700k, Nvidia GTX 4090, 64GB ram, game is running on an SSD. All drivers/software up to date.

Happens every few matches, sometimes back to back. Any suggestions?
