DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED or DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
In my experience, turning off overclock is preventing crashes. This does not fix everyone's issue. I can only play for a couple minutes, and I get this error message. Direct function "m_submitFencePlat->GetCompletedValue" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED ("The video card has been physically removed from the system, or a driver upgrade for the video card has occurred. "). GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti", Driver: 58142. D: \dev\TnT\Code\Packages\RenderCore2\RenderCore2\dev\sourc e\platform\Dx12\SubmissionManagerDx12.cpp. This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers.DeviceRemovedReason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The GPU will not respond to more commands"). Hi everyone, I’ve been dealing with a persistent crash issue that already existed during the Battlefield 6 Beta and still occurs in the full release. The game always crashes while loading into any map (around 30%), without any error message - just a silent return to desktop. Interestingly, I can play on the shooting range without issues, walk around and shoot, but as soon as I try to load a multiplayer match, a RedSec match, or even the campaign, the game crashes during the loading screen. This issue is 100% reproducible. It happens every single time, in exactly the same way. I’ve attached a video showing the crash behavior and a DxDiag file for reference, and a ZIP containing the last 4 crash dump files. My System: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X GPU: PowerColor RedDevil RX 7900 XTX RAM: 32GB G.Sklill DDR4 Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Gaming OS: Windows 11 (fully updated) Driver: AMD Adrenalin 25.10.2 Platform: Steam What I've already tried: Verified game files multiple times (always finds 3 corrupted files and replaces them - no improvement) Fresh Windows 11 installation Deleted cache folder Disabled Resizable BAR, SVM, and Memory Integrity (Core Isolation) Checked TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot settings - both configured correctly Used DDU in Safe Mode to clean-install several AMD drivers Tested with -dx11 in steam launch option Tried all display modes (Fullscreen, Borderless, Windowed) Disabled all overlays (EA App, Steam, Radeon, etc.) Disabled all optional AMD Adrenalin features (Chill, Anti-Lag, Enhanced Sync, etc.) Reinstalled EA Anti-Cheat manually I’ve sacrificed a small goat to the Frostbite gods - no improvement. Updated BIOS to the newest stable version Reset BIOS to defaults and tested with/without DOCP profile Underclocked and undervolted the GPU (to rule out instability or power limit issues) Limited the framerate (tried 30, 100, 120, and uncapped) and set all graphics settings to the lowest possible values - still crashes at the same loading point I've analyzed one of the crash dump files with ChatGPT. It pointed to a function related to FidelityFX Super Resolution 2 (FSR2) inside the game’s Frostbite engine. In simple terms, it looks like the crash happens when the engine tries to initialize or handle FSR2 rendering resources, which could explain why it always occurs while loading into a map. Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.469Views0likes7CommentsBattlefield 6 Crashes on Startup
When launching the game on Steam, it passes the anti-cheat splash screen, a black window shows up and about 1 second after the black window turned into a full screen, the game crashes with no error report. PC specs: Intel Core i5-13600K, 48GB RAM, RTX 5080, PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, Windows 11 25H2 26200.7171. I haven't played the game for a few weeks (and it ran fine), and I just upgraded my GPU from RTX 3080 to RTX 5080. All other games run fine, and it passes 3DMark stress test at 98.8%. All drivers are up to date, and I have also tried reinstalling GPU driver with DDU twice, reinstalling the game once and nothing fixes it. I've attached the latest one crash dump file found in \Documents\Battlefield 6\CrashDumps in the attachments.48Views0likes2CommentsNew update on PS5 problem
Every time I click a game mode it goes into a completely different tab such as challenges or party. Happened after the brand new update. Very annoying and nothing I can do. Clicking X does not take you to what you click on I have no idea what you guys have done. Restarting every single time after every single game is the only thing that works.13Views0likes0CommentsMenu issues when backing out of match?
Xbox series X: Have an issue after today's update where all options on the game type menu aren't available as if I am offline when I back out of a match. When I leave a lobby/server to rejoin I only get the options for 'BULLETIN' and 'COMMUNITY' and have to restart the game to get all options such as MULTIPLAYER/REDSEC?10Views0likes0CommentsMatchmaking breaks every other match when on same network
Me and my fiance have paid £130 for 2 copies of the game, Im PC Steam she is Xbox series X, just for matchmaking to break every other game. Either it loads just one of us into a game or neither of us and we need to completely restart the game. Had this exact same issue in battlefield 2042 and the BF6 Beta. Genuinely thought this would have been fixed by now.... This is game breaking as it destroys any immersion/flow.1.8KViews21likes217CommentsEA Javelin Anticheat encountered an error. Hi Everyone, I am at my wit's end. Since BF6 launch (not the beta) I've been having connection issues. Every 10-30 minutes of play time, I get the same error. Sometimes it just kicks me to the menu, to the boot screen, or telling me I was "Kicked for Inactivity" when I was very much active. No other game (Counterstrike, Runescape etc) or App (e.g. Discord, Teams)) is recording any network connection issues, and often I am able to join straight back into my friends matches after being disconnected. Here is what I have tried to resolve: EA and Steam versions of BF6 Changing DNS settings on my router (Google and Cloudflare) Changing ISPs Obtaining a static IP from my provider (i found out they were using CG-NAT) Rebooting all network devices and PC Flushing DNS Verifying integrity of game files Allowed all instances of BF6 and EA anti-cheat through my Windows Firewall Contacting EA support (after a few suggestion resetting my hardware they directed me to create a post on here) The only exception, is I have not changed from using a Wireless connection as its not possible for me to run a cable. Now what has worked for me: Cloudflare's WARP VPN Service, it seems to somehow prevent me getting kicked, with the downside of a worse hit detection and what feels like increased lag in-game. I have run the tracert commands as suggested in this post by EA_Vendcera both on my normal connection and using Cloudflare's WARP Vpn service. The logs are attached. Is there any fix that doesn't involve a 3rd party VPN? Thank you
