Cheaters can now block in-game reports

Based on my experience tonight, it looks like cheaters can now actually block your in-game reports for cheating/harassment etc.

I made reports against two players for cheating and harassment. They were on my team, and were using jets to ram our friendly aircraft.

However, less than a minute after I made my reports, I got automated EA support emails to my inbox stating my "inappropriate name" report had been closed for "PERSONNAME".

Which isn't the report type, issue or player names I reported. After I submitted my reports, they even encouraged me to log another report in game.

I've logged a ticket manually to report them both now, but suffice to say, I won't be playing while cheaters can circumvent the very in-game reporting system meant to identify and remove them.

    Lol posable.

I was able to do something like this in F.E.A.R. you reported me it would kick you instead. Punk buster would also flag the reporter as a cheater. And if the admin happened to kick me the server would crash.

That was back in 2006 today this stuff is probably filtering through an AI automatic system.

I see a lot of people are feeling something is off. I see cheating/hacking post daily on these forums. And just a easy Google search will tell you.

That and I notice it's always the same people posting on the cheating/hacking post trying to defend it in so way. Example you are just bad or every one that kills you must be a cheater right. It's always the same people.

Not just here other fourms of other games have the same people. I had this guy post on every one of my post saying in my 9000h I have only seen 2 cheaters. Until I uploaded 8 videos of blatant cheater in 1 day of playing. He didn't comment on that BTW.

I find it strange post are made comment on by the same people and it gets buried and then a new user makes a new post basically saying the same thing there are cheating. But just gets over looked and bummed down.

You really can't get proof because the kill cam is no good. I don't care where he killed me from I want to see how from his pov.

It's obvious season starts you get good games for a day or two then out if no where there is a influx of new players and you are getting killed from head shots 100m out from a tr7. Or you shoot a guy camping a corner 3m rang landing 3 rounds be he turns around and beams you in less then a second.

I stopped playing when this guy jump out a window injured his self roughly he had 20 health I was close enough to see his name tag I would say I was 5m behind he didn't  know I was there. He jump turn to run up the stairs I started shooting with the MP5 5m range all I got was 1 shot he jump 180 headshot looking sideways killed me at 100hp in one frame. He picked the exact spot I was peaked from.

Could have been net code but that's not the point

The point is others see it and it's easy to finda information about it.

    Im done ranting

    Good day

  • This happened to me recently. Reported someone for harrasment and the email back from EA was almost instantanious.

Devs, I have the report number if needed.

    Regards, Wall
