Battlefield 6 Steam Suddenly Won’t Get Past Splash Screen
I have been playing for a couple months no problem, having fun, but suddenly, this Monday the 5th I noticed that it no longer was able to launch the game. I would see the splash screen, text at the bottom changes, says game will launch, and then nothing. I then went on to try every solution I could find online. It seems like a lot of people had my problem when it came out, but none of the things that worked for them worked for me. And I didn't notice any comments by anyone to whom this happened suddenly, as was my case, so I thought it was worth posting. I've spent hours trying the following solutions : launched in admin mode reverted to past nvidia driver : 591:59 exploit protection : added bf6 and anticheat launcher .exe files with all options checked off. disabled my bitdefender as far as I could deleted and reinstalled (now going to try reinstalling in different location) tried reinstalling windows even I've reinstalled the EA App verified game files ensured smooting is off on nvidia deleted and reinstalled DirectX and Windows 2015-2022 x64 and x86 tried creating a new local windows user account, to try the game out there. still no I've tried other stuff too.. went pretty deep with chatgpt. but this is driving me nuts. My modest specs : ryzen 7 5700X RTX3060 B450 Gaming Plus max 32gb ddr4Can we get some sort of time frame for fixes? Or at least an acknowledgement?
Can we get some kind of acknowledgement that support is even checking these threads? Can we get fixes for the game that doesn't require us gimping our GPU, CPU, And XMP/AMD EXPO (Ram speeds)? This probably includes the infamous DX errors this game is riddled with. Any time frame on getting hit reg fixed? You know, those moments of shooting an opponent in the back just for them to turn around and smoke you with what looks like 1 bullet ? Any plans on fixing the Fire camping that takes place in REDSEC? That's allowing people to hangout in the fire without taking damage ? What about what we were sold with Portal? Full progession with bots and friends? Being able to back fill lobbies with bots and enjoying with friends is part of why I purchased this game. Can we let the community decide on the game changes ? Not streamers? We paid our money, it's about time for some sort of acknowledgement. EA_Leeuw ??137Views9likes7CommentsFFS!!!!!! HELP ME!

Removing cheaters when BF6 first came out, fantastic. PLAYERS DO NOT WANNA PLAY WITH CHEATERS... Period! Now that the creator of BF6 past away, it seems like Nothing is being done about cheaters! There are more & more no matter what game mode we play. And to the DEVELOPERS & I really hope you listen carefully, CHEATERS ARE A CANCER!!! Millions left COD because of cheating, cheating will KILL a game in no time. On COD, a player got banned they made a new account, didn't matter if they got banned. Theirs videos all over YouTube bragging how they cheat & Nothing done to them. Now there doing it to BF6. Players that didn't play COD anymore found a new home with BF6. BUT, if you DO NOT put a stop to cheaters, your gonna LOSE all the players that are desperately trying to get away from CHEATERS! The Auto Aiming, The anti recoil, The FIRE RATE INCREASE. It's starting to get way out of control & Nothing is being done about it. We report players with their 4.0 KD or higher, I saw one player with a 35.8 KD & over 100,000 kills, this isn't a red flag to anyone?? Im at a lvl 320 just over 20,000 kills a 2.0 KD. Player's at a lvl 120 with 4.0 KD or more ok, maybe. But when they have 25,000 to 50,000 kills RED FLAGS SHOULD BE GOING OFF!! I told this to COD, they didn't listen, COD is dying. I'm telling BF6 get control of the cheating, before BF6 & future BF games die off like COD. I'VE BEEN PLAYING SHOOTING GAMES FOR 20 + YEARS. I've seen it all first-hand. And i'm telling you, CHEATERS ARE A CANCER!Anticheat error code (7) (1053)
Hi, I was playing casual breakthrough and suddenly encountered bluescreen. It happens sometimes before. After my PC rebooted I tried to launch BF6 but it stucks at "EA Javelin Anticheat encountered an error. Please restart your PC. " The error code is (7)(1053). I tried to reinstall the anticheat and BF6 but nothing works. I'm playing on Windows 10 with latest update. My CPU is 9955HX and GPU is 5070Ti laptop. With 16GB RAM. I've been playing in this environment including system, hardware and software since published and there was nothing wrong until now. The following link is the dump file of the bluescreen that may help. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qa7zqrVTJhJ_C12MyssNbKzu3TRtyxEw/view?usp=sharing22Views0likes0CommentsSTEAM - Connection Failed Error 1:86001S:66003S:468882297O:0B
I cannot connect to Battlefield 6 servers via Steam. Getting consistent error: Connection Failed - Error Code: 1:86001S:66003S:468882297O:0B Platform: Steam (purchased on Steam) EA Account: Verified linked to Steam at ea.com/account/connections Troubleshooting Steps Already Completed: Verified game files integrity on Steam (100% validated) Cleared EA App cache via Help > App Recovery Ran EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe as administrator Changed DNS to Google DNS (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4) Restarted router (full power cycle) Logged out and back into EA Account Reinstalled EA App completely Verified Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 enabled Result: Error persists after all standard fixes. Additional Information: Based on forum research, this appears to be an EA backend authentication issue affecting multiple Steam players. The error structure 1:86001S:66003S suggests account ID mismatch that cannot be resolved client-side. Multiple threads confirm this same error: , , Request: This requires EA backend team intervention. Can a community manager or EA staff member escalate this to the authentication team? This is blocking gameplay entirely since launch.2.5KViews9likes135CommentsBattlefield 6 disconnects my entire network/internet; reproducible 100%
Battlefield 6 crashes during server join with network traffic dropping to 0 KB/s immediately before crash (PC, Windows, Xfinity) Video of the Crash Summary Battlefield 6 launches normally but consistently crashes during server join or immediately after brief loading visuals. The failure is always preceded by the in-game network graph dropping to 0 KB/s inbound and outbound. This is not a full internet disconnect. Other applications and network activity remain stable. I am normally connected via LAN directly to my modem, have 300 hours so far of uninterrupted gameplay. I tested LAN, WiFi, Hotspot, and my neighbors WiFi with the same outcome as the video above. Environment PC running Windows Network using Xfinity gateway/router managed via the Xfinity app Static DHCP-reserved LAN IP assigned to the PC: 10.0.0.37 Tools used include the Battlefield in-game network graph, Windows Event Viewer, and external port checking tools Symptoms and reproduction Launch Battlefield 6 Attempt to join any server or match During loading, the game either crashes on the loading screen or briefly loads (for example helicopter visuals) and then crashes Immediately before the crash, the in-game network graph shows traffic activity and then drops to 0 KB/s in and out Observed example Attempted to join a server (example: Redsec). The helicopter/loading visuals appeared briefly, then the game terminated immediately. The in-game network graph showed traffic followed by a complete flatline to zero just before the crash. Event Viewer findings Windows Event Viewer was reviewed to determine whether Windows was disabling the network connection at the moment of failure. Result: There is no clear or actionable Windows network-level error logged at the exact time of the crash. There is no indication of a clean network adapter disconnect. The behavior appears consistent with the game or EA Anti-Cheat terminating the session or process internally rather than Windows dropping connectivity. Event Viewer logs from the Application and System logs around the crash window can be provided if specific fields or Event IDs are required. Troubleshooting performed Static IP and port forwarding A static LAN IP was reserved for the PC using DHCP reservation to prevent address changes (10.0.0.37). Port forwarding was configured through the Xfinity app, including port 27015. External port checking tools report the public IP and port as closed. Result: No change. Battlefield 6 still crashes during server join. Port forwarding did not resolve the issue. Windows Firewall changes Windows Defender Firewall rules were deleted to rule out local firewall interference. Result: The game began crashing earlier, now during the loading screen. This suggests the firewall was not the root cause and that removing rules may have removed previously allowed behavior or altered timing rather than fixing the issue. Network observability attempts Windows-native tools were used to determine what component was disabling Battlefield network traffic. Result: No Windows-level logging clearly explains the sudden drop of Battlefield traffic to zero. This points toward an application-level or anti-cheat-level termination rather than an OS-level network failure. Community reports and possible correlation Community posts were found suggesting EA Anti-Cheat may conflict with PPPoE or dial-up style connections, with reported workarounds involving disconnecting and reconnecting the connection after launching the game. This is not confirmed as the root cause here, but the failure pattern is similar: network handshake fails, traffic drops to zero, game terminates. Why this does not appear to be general connectivity or user error Other online games and internet usage function normally Network traffic drops only for Battlefield 6, not system-wide Static IP, port forwarding, and firewall changes do not resolve the issue Windows does not log a clean network disconnect at the time of failure The crash consistently follows the Battlefield network traffic dropping to zero Request to EA Support and Engineering Confirm whether Battlefield 6 requires inbound reachable ports for stability or if outbound-only connectivity is expected Provide guidance on EA Anti-Cheat logging or diagnostics that can explain why the session is terminated when network traffic drops Confirm whether this is a known issue with certain ISP gateways (including Xfinity) and provide recommended gateway settings, bridge mode guidance, or an official workaround Evidence available upon request Screenshots showing in-game network traffic dropping to 0 KB/s immediately before crash Screenshots of Xfinity port forwarding configuration and port checker results Windows Event Viewer logs around the crash window Short issue summary for ticket title Battlefield 6 crashes during server join. In-game network traffic drops to 0 KB/s immediately before crash. Xfinity gateway, static IP 10.0.0.37, port forwarding attempted, firewall changes worsened crash, no clear Windows network error logged. My Account Was Wrongfully Banned for 20 Days
To the EA Community and the EA TOS Team: I am writing this post to bring attention to the ongoing situation regarding the wrongful ban on my account. This 20-day duration accounts for half of the game's total time since release, resulting in a massive loss of playtime and frustration for me as a loyal player. The most important point I must highlight is a potential system error in my case: I am a player on the PC platform (via Steam), yet the platform listed on my ban/case details is PS5. This discrepancy suggests a fundamental error in processing my case, which could be the root cause of the wrongful ban. Despite submitting multiple appeals and requests, my issue unfortunately remains unresolved. I understand that the EA TOS Team must be extremely busy, but please consider the significant impact this error is having on a non-cheating player who is missing out on crucial game time. I urge the EA team to carefully review my in-game statistics and gameplay data. What kind of cheater would have such terrible/mediocre stats? My game history will clearly demonstrate that I am an average player, and my performance level is nowhere near what would suggest cheating. This ban is clearly a misjudgment/error. I am appealing to the EA TOS Team to prioritize my case, re-examine the evidence, and lift the wrongful ban on my account based on my genuine gameplay record as soon as possible. Thank you for your time and attention to this critical issue.Solved74Views0likes4CommentsBattlefield V or VI no longer booting Win 11 N2 incompatibility issue?
HI. I purchased and downloaded BF6 prior to release date and have been playing the game on my current PC for months without this current issue. Now I can no longer boot this game or even BF5 on my PC. I get an error message on boot that states that EA Javelin Anticheat encountered a system error, please run the EA Javelin Anticheat installer. So I click on Reinstall EA Javelin Anticheat and it says it successfully installed and then goes back to the EA app and an error states the game failed to boot due to a problem on our (EA) end. Please try again later. This same issue loops over and over again. I didn't change any settings on my PC. So then I trouble shooted the issue and checked my BIOS UEIF and secure boot are enabled. I tried to admin repair the EA Javelin anticheat installer. I cleared cache, I uninstalled and reinstalled the whole game, only to have installation hang up on HD shaders. I have done all these things suggested and nothing works. I am and running windows 11 version 25h2. Then I found something online stating that this version of windows is incompatible with EA Javelin anticheat?! I tried to rollback my version of windows, which I can't do because I cleared my cache, im guessing? So now I am stuck. Is anyone else having this problem? Found a solution? HELP!?12Views0likes0Comments
