Game Crashing With Unknown Error 0:85009S
Hi everyone, A couple of days ago I decided to do a clean install of Windows 11 and installed all the necessary drivers. When I install and play Battlefield 6, after about 5 minutes the game kicks me out of the session with the error code “Unknown Error 0:85009S.” This is getting really frustrating because I’ve tried pretty much every suggestion I’ve found from other users, and nothing has worked so far. Here’s a list of what I’ve already tried: Clean install of Windows 11 Clean install of Windows 10 Clean install of Windows 11 LTSC Restarting my internet router Using my phone’s internet connection Clean boot via MSCONFIG Reinstalling Javelin Running both BF6 and Javelin as administrator Flushing DNS Changing DNS servers Disconnecting peripherals Allowing BF6 and Javelin through the firewall Opening ports on my router I’d really appreciate any help. I used to play without any issues, but since around Saturday, the 28th I haven’t been able to stay in-game for more than 5 minutes before getting kicked (cm edit - updated title for vis)5.6KViews10likes124CommentsBattlefield 6 wont launch from steam
I had the game working yesterday, and now today it thoows an error with EA anticheat (7)(1). Nothing changed in my PC since yesterday, no software installed or removed. I went thought the process of uninstalling EA anticheat (uninstall all) option from "C:\Program Files\EA\AC\EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe" and downloading the EA anticheat form "https://help.ea.com/en/articles/platforms/pc-ea-anticheat/". rebooting the PC. Tried launching the game from steam. It won't even show the splash screen. Just the process "EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe" runs in task manager and the quietly exits. I tried directly launching the game by opening the "EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe" in game directory, It shows the splash screen and then shows me (7)(1) error. At this point I'm regretting buying the game.30Views0likes1CommentUNKNOWN ERROR
Since the game's release, I haven't had a single problem launching it. I played it just fine last night. But after last night, whenever I try to launch the game, I get this error: UNKNOWN ERROR ERROR CODE 0:5 1002S:57019S I have a dual-boot Windows system, and nothing has changed on this OS, nor have I downloaded anything new. The second Windows is completely stock. Only drivers and Windows updates. Identical errors. People say a VPN helps. But everything worked fine until now. Something changed overnight, and a problem arose...104Views3likes3CommentsError Code 0:85009S - Kicked after 5 mins
Hey everyone, I am reaching out here because I am completely at my wit's end with Error Code 0:85009S. I recently did a fresh reinstall of Windows, and ever since then, I cannot stay in a match for more than 5 minutes before getting kicked. It is absolutely outrageous and is making it impossible to play with my friends. I want to be clear that I have already tried everything usually suggested for network and anti-cheat issues. Here is the list of troubleshooting steps I have already gone through, none of which worked: Switched to Google DNS and Cloudflare DNS Completely disabled IPv6 Reset and reinstalled all drivers Hard reset my router Verified the game cache and local files Repaired the EA Anti-Cheat (EA AC) Nothing is working. The game just boots me out after 5 minutes, almost on the dot. Has anyone actually found a working fix for this specific error code? I am out of ideas and just want to play the game. Thanks in advance. (cm edit - updated title for vis)Solved2.5KViews4likes20Commentsbf6 wont launch properly, stops at black splash screen
ive had this problem for a while where the game will not launch past the black splash screen, and then it will just abruptly close after some seconds, i feel like ive tried everything from reinstalling the game, restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the anticheat, giving admin permissions to both the anticheat and bf6 and even going through the exploit settings on windows to turn off some functions, but nothing seems to be working. everythings up to date as wellBattlefield 6 won't open
After the Nightfall Update , I wanted to open the game , every time I am opening the game , I see for half a minute the splash screen with the Battlefield 6 and EA Anti-Cheat , then for another 30 seconds I see a windowed black screen of the game and after the game shuts down , I am getting sent back to EA App without any error message , any notifications regarding the unexpected crash of the game. I didn't had this problem till the release of the new Update. Things that I've done so far trying to fix it: Updating my GPU drivers , and Windows updates I checked the "Event Viewer" in Windows search and looked up for the EA Javelin error , all I found was in the text box it said "The game bf6.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0x186AA" The next fixes regarding the EA Anti-cheat , I've seen people telling me to try this: I use EA Anti-cheat.exe from the Battlefield 6 folder and choose where the game is installed and then I click Repair , nothing fixed it I also deleted the EAanticheat.exe from the Battlefield 6 folder and then went on EA App and clicked "Repair" and still nothing. What can I do ??Solved563Views4likes17CommentsBattlefield 6 – Repeated Soft Crashes to Desktop (No Error Code) on PC
Hello everyone, I am posting here in hopes of finding a solution or confirming whether others are experiencing the same issue. Over the past week, I have been dealing with consistent soft crashes to the desktop while playing Battlefield 6 on PC. The game closes instantly with no error message, no error code, and no warning of any kind. Issue Description The crashes occur in several scenarios: At the end of matches Between rounds Occasionally mid-match during normal gameplay There is no pattern beyond the fact that the crashes are frequent and completely random. The game simply exits to the desktop as if it was never running. Troubleshooting Steps Already Attempted I want to emphasize that I have tried every reasonable troubleshooting method, including but not limited to: Updating GPU, chipset, and all relevant drivers Repairing and verifying game files Completely reinstalling the game Updating Windows and performing system integrity checks Testing temperatures, voltages, and system stability Disabling overlays and background applications Running the game on different graphics presets Resetting NVIDIA control panel settings Clearing cache and temporary files Despite all these steps, the issue persists with no improvement. At this point it is becoming extremely frustrating, as there is no indication of what causes the crash. Important Note All of my non-EA games run perfectly smooth on this system without any crashes or performance issues. This strongly suggests that the problem is specific to Battlefield 6, not my hardware or system environment. System Specifications Here are my full PC specs for reference: CPU: Intel Core i7-10700KF GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Motherboard: ASUS TUF Z490 RAM: 32GB Storage: Samsung 990 Pro NVMe PSU: 750W 80+ Gold OS: Windows 11 Request for Assistance If anyone has encountered similar soft crashes or found a working solution, I would greatly appreciate your input. If the EA team needs diagnostic logs, crash dumps, or a DxDiag report, I am more than willing to provide them. This issue is affecting the gameplay experience significantly, and I hope we can identify the cause or confirm whether this is a known problem that requires a patch. Thank you in advance, and I appreciate any help or insights from the community or EA representatives.3.1KViews6likes9CommentsBF6 Red Sec – Hit Registration, Desync and Audio Issues / PS5
Hello, I would like to report a recurring issue I am experiencing in Battlefield 6 (Red Sec mode) and ask whether you are aware of it and if there is any planned fix. In many matches, I notice very inconsistent damage registration. Using the same weapon, sometimes I eliminate opponents within a few shots, while in other situations I can empty almost an entire magazine into an enemy and they survive with minimal health. It feels as if some of the hits are not properly registered. Additionally, I frequently experience situations where: enemies seem to see me earlier than I can see them, I receive damage or get eliminated after already moving behind cover or going prone, overall gunfights feel inconsistent from match to match. There is also a noticeable issue with audio perception. Opponents seem to react to my position much faster than I am able to hear their footsteps or movements, which puts me at a disadvantage. I would like to emphasize that my setup should not be the cause: wired fiber connection (approx. 5 ms latency), download ~1500 Mbps / upload ~600 Mbps, PS5 connected via Ethernet, stable network environment (port forwarding / DMZ tested), 120 Hz monitor, controller connected via cable. hedphones sony inzone h9 Based on both my experience and recent community discussions, this appears to be related to desync, hit registration issues, or server-side inconsistencies rather than local connection problems. Could you please confirm: Are you aware of these issues (hit registration, desync, delayed damage, audio inconsistency)? Are they related to server tick rate or matchmaking/server quality? Is there a planned fix or update addressing these problems? Is there anything on the player side that could realistically improve the situation? Additionally, I would like to ask: Could this behavior be in any way related to anti-cheat mechanisms (e.g., temporary verification or testing of player input/devices)? I am using only standard, legitimate hardware, but the sudden drop in performance after good matches feels unusual and difficult to explain otherwise. Thank you in advance for your response.
