Battlefield 6 PC crash/freeze
Battlefield 6 is intermittently crashing my entire PC. I’m having a very inconsistent crashing issue with Battlefield 6 on PC. Sometimes the game runs perfectly and I can play normally, but other times it crashes my entire PC. It can happen during the initial launch, while I’m still in the main menu, or during gameplay, it isn't specifically related to entering a match. When it crashes, sometimes I get a Windows BSOD showing MEMORY_MANAGEMENT (0x1A), while other times I get a completely black screen with no error or message at all. My system: CPU: Xeon Gold GPU: RTX 2080 Super RAM: 128 GB OS: Windows 11 Platform: Steam Other games and applications work normally. I’ve already tried reinstalling Steam/Battlefield 6, dealt with the Steam download issues, lowered the graphics settings, and capped the FPS to 60. Despite this, the game can still randomly cause a full system crash, while other times it runs completely fine. I’m wondering if this could be related to EA Javelin anti-cheat, overlays/background software, a driver conflict, or another Battlefield 6-specific issue. Has anyone else experienced BF6 causing either a MEMORY_MANAGEMENT (0x1A) BSOD or a completely black-screen system crash? Really need help with this.EAAntiCheat.cfg missing or corrupted
Hello. Every time i try to launch battlefield 6 from steam it gives me the error [EAAntiCheat.cfg missing or corrupted] I reinstalled the whole game , i reinstalled the anticheat , i repaired and updated the anti cheat through EAAntiCheat.Installer , i redownloaded the EAAntiCheat.Installer, i verified the files in steam. i always make sure the file is there but still i get the error. I have window 11 , i turned off windows defender and excluded battlefield 6 from it. Secure boot is also on in BIOS. What else should i do to fix it?123Views0likes8CommentsGetting blocked for “cheating”
I’m a PC gamer that blocked for cheating which I did not do. I’m just curious if anyone has had this issue I appealed the decision 4 times and everytime I get told “to bad you cheated” and I really don’t know what to do. Because they can literally just steal a game you pay and get nothing in return.BF6 Secure Boot Error Despite TPM 2.0, Attestation and UEFI Working
Hi everyone, I’m trying to understand whether this is a new Javelin Anti-Cheat compatibility issue after the latest Battlefield 6 update. My system uses an ASUS Z170M-PLUS/BR with an Intel Core i7-7700. The motherboard supports TPM 2.0 through Intel PTT, and Battlefield 6 was working on this exact PC before the update I installed on September 4, 2026. After the update, BF6 stopped launching and now shows: “Secure Boot is not enabled.” However, Secure Boot is definitely enabled and Windows confirms it: BIOS Mode: UEFI Secure Boot State: On Confirm-SecureBootUEFI = True CSM disabled Windows installed on GPT TPM 2.0 enabled and initialized VBS running HVCI / Memory Integrity running I also updated the motherboard BIOS and Intel ME/PTT firmware. The TPM firmware is now reported as non-vulnerable. During troubleshooting I found that TPM attestation was initially broken: Ready For Attestation: False INFORMATION_EK_CERTIFICATE no Intel EK manufacturer certificate I then installed Intel’s newer Management Engine/iCLS package and updated iCLS from 1.49.166.0 to 1.80.173.0. After running the newer IntelPTTEKRecertification.exe, the Intel EK certificate was successfully provisioned. The TPM now reports: Ready For Storage: True Ready For Attestation: True Is Capable For Attestation: True Intel EK Manufacturer Certificate present AIKEnrollmentErrorCode = 0 TPM Has Vulnerable Firmware = False So at this point TPM 2.0, TPM attestation, Secure Boot, UEFI, VBS and HVCI are all working correctly. Despite this, Battlefield 6 still refuses to start and shows the same Secure Boot error. The EA Anti-Cheat service installs when the game starts, stays in START_PENDING briefly, then terminates with: Event ID 7023 EAAntiCheatService terminated with error: 0xFFFF404B There are no Code Integrity events showing Windows blocking the anti-cheat driver or service. I know the i7-7700 is older than the officially listed i5-8400 minimum CPU, but the game was running on this exact hardware before the latest update. Also, the error shown is specifically about Secure Boot, not unsupported hardware. Has anyone else seen 0xFFFF404B after the recent update, especially on older Intel PTT systems? I would also like to know whether Javelin introduced a new platform/TPM validation requirement that is not reflected in the current error message.Solved348Views2likes25CommentsTPM 2.0
I have recently been locked out of BF6 since the new update. My mobo is a MSI Z97 gaming, with a intel i7 4700K. My system is running max 1.2 TPM, i have been playing BF6 for several months with no dramas. Now this new update has come in, i can no longer play BF6. Is there a work around for this issue?447Views0likes31CommentsJavelin false Secure Boot error — 0xFFFF404B — ASUS Z170 / Intel PTT
Battlefield 6 will not launch because EA Javelin Anticheat reports "SecureBoot is not enabled." Secure Boot is definitely enabled and functioning correctly. System: ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING Intel Core i7-6700K Windows 11 Pro build 26200.9168 Battlefield 6 through Steam Intel PTT / TPM 2.0 Verified: BIOS mode is UEFI. CSM is disabled. Secure Boot is enabled. Platform Key is loaded. msinfo32 reports Secure Boot State: On. Confirm-SecureBootUEFI returns True. Windows Security states: "Secure Boot is on and all required certificate updates have been applied." TPM 2.0 is initialized and ready for storage and attestation. Intel TPM endorsement certificate is present. Intel virtualization is enabled. Windows boots through the Microsoft UEFI boot manager. I also updated the Intel ME/PTT firmware using the latest official ASUS package for the Z170 PRO GAMING. Before the firmware update, Windows reported: TPM Has Vulnerable Firmware: True After the firmware update, Windows reports: TPM Has Vulnerable Firmware: False Javelin creates EAAntiCheatService using: C:\Program Files\EA\AC\eaanticheat.gameservice.exe Every Battlefield 6 launch generates Service Control Manager Event ID 7023 with: The EAAntiCheatService service terminated with the following error: 4294918219 This corresponds to: 0xFFFF404B The EA Javelin Application log has also reported: Failed retrieving service path. I have already repaired/reinstalled Javelin, verified Steam/EA account linking, confirmed Defender is not quarantining anything, confirmed there is no third-party antivirus interference, and verified TPM, UEFI, Secure Boot, certificates, and Windows bootloader configuration. The Secure Boot error appears to be misleading. Please clarify what Javelin error 0xFFFF404B represents and whether there is a known compatibility issue with Intel PTT on ASUS Z170 / Skylake systems.61Views2likes5Commentswhat the hell is error 0xc0000005 and how do i fix it??!!
so when i tried launching the game after the 140 gig update(bigger than the game install), the splash screen showed up like usual, but when it went away like normal "launching game", a new splash screen popped up saying " An unexpected game shutdown was detected.
