Connecting to EU servers in the US?

This thread should be pinned. I can actually play the game now manually selecting US servers. Why the **bleep** wouldn't it. Is it related to VPNs, or where the Steam/EA account was created (also VPN?)

Not sure. I am not using a VPN, though. When I play on US servers, I am getting well over 200 FPS. Some of my issues are tied to FPS too (based on the yellow icon that keeps popping up during lag). It's been a frustrating launch for me.

Any solutions on this? Mine is routing trhough Santiago as well, but I'm in Europe...

Got stable internet connection (cabled) 750 upload and download and 5 ish latency, but the game is stuttering and I get constantly latency warnings in game...

Same here. I am from Europe as well and my Tenancy is in Santiago. Game is unplayable for me....
