Connecting to EU servers in the US?

Hello, I am having this issue that is making BF6 basically unplayable in a normal setting. I confirmed my packet loss issues stem from the game putting me in EU servers (Amazon). I was able to trace this via PingPlotter.

As of now, the only way to play this game is by using the server browser and picking a US server. I should not have to do this!

I have 1G Verizon internet, and yes, connected to wifi, I'm getting just under 700 Mbps/400 upload. Latency is around 12.

Any help?

  • This thread should be pinned. I can actually play the game now manually selecting US servers. Why the **bleep** wouldn't it. Is it related to VPNs, or where the Steam/EA account was created (also VPN?)

  • Not sure. I am not using a VPN, though. When I play on US servers, I am getting well over 200 FPS. Some of my issues are tied to FPS too (based on the yellow icon that keeps popping up during lag). It's been a frustrating launch for me.

  • for me, it is routing me through santiago..... im on eastern north america
