Connection failed. ERROR CODE 1:86001S:51002S:57019S

Hello EA Support,

I’m having a persistent issue where Battlefield 6 cannot connect to EA servers, even though my Internet connection and all other EA titles work correctly.

Here’s what I’ve verified and tested:

Internet access – My PC has full Internet connectivity, and Battlefield 1, Battlefield V, and Battlefield 2042 all connect and play normally.

Router eliminated – I connected my PC directly to the provider’s modem/ONT (Data Stels / Datagroup network), completely bypassing my home router. Internet and all other services continued to work, but Battlefield 6 still failed to connect.

Traceroute / Pathping results – When I ran

tracert easo.ea.com
pathping 159.153.71.17

the trace stopped at hop 1 (192.168.1.1) with no further response. This indicates that my connection is behind my ISP’s internal NAT (likely Carrier-Grade NAT).

VPN test – When I connect using a VPN or Cloudflare WARP, Battlefield 6 immediately connects and functions normally. This confirms the game works once traffic is routed through a public IP path.

Firewall / Anti-cheat / System – Local Windows firewall, antivirus, and EA AntiCheat have all been checked and are not blocking the connection.

Based on these results, it seems Battlefield 6 cannot connect when the user’s ISP places them behind CGNAT. Could you please confirm if our assumption is correct — that Battlefield 6 requires a public IPv4 address or open NAT for connectivity — and whether EA is working on a fix or alternative relay method for users affected by this network configuration?

Thank you for your time and assistance.
