Crash to desktop with no error message during gameplay

My game wont last for more than 5 minutes before crashing at it seems to be an issue with the Javelin anti cheat from the diagnostic crash report from Windows, but that is after I had to dig for it, nothing pops up on my screen to alert what might have happened. 

EA Javelin is apparently having trouble? I am getting these errors:
ExitType: 95 (37)
The EAAntiCheatService service terminated with the following error:  %%4294901855

From what I researched I dont have a VPN or any other networking changes. I started to see these crashes since the last update. Tried repairing/reinstalling/updating and rolling back graphic drivers/ repair and reinstall Javelin.  Would love to some guidance or a fix for this. Attached is my DXdaig that I just ran since that seems to be asked for off the bat every time.  No hardware changes have been made, this was working perfectly until the last update.

Hi, error #95 usually means that EA Javelin Anticheat has detected an unacceptable configuration.

Please make sure that no cheat-related, tampering, VPN, or proxy software is active, then restart the game. EA Javelin Anticheat may close the game and EA services if cheat tools or conflicting software are detected.

We also recommend checking for outdated or conflicting software, especially hardware-related tools such as fan control interfaces or similar programs. Please make sure your device drivers and software are fully up to date.

You can also try performing a clean boot to help identify which background program or service may be causing this.

I am experiencing random crashes to desktop with no error message. The game closes instantly after anywhere between 10 and 60 minutes of gameplay. This issue only occurs in Battlefield 6. Other games run without any stability problems.

System:

Windows 11 25H2 (Build 26100)

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D

Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite (BIOS F40d)

64 GB DDR4 (4x16 GB 3200 MHz)

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti

NVIDIA Driver 610.62

Resizable BAR Enabled

Game installed on NVMe SSD

What I already tried:

- Repair game

- Clear shader cache

- Delete PROFSAVE

- Disable NVIDIA Overlay

- Disable Frame Generation

- Disable Ray Tracing

- Test with and without OBS

- Remove Voicemeeter

- Verify latest AMD chipset drivers

- No CPU or GPU overclock

Windows diagnostics:

No WHEA errors.

No Display 4101 (TDR).

No LiveKernelEvent.

No Kernel-Power GPU crash events.

I analyzed multiple Frostbite crash dumps using WinDbg.

All dumps report:

Exception Code: 0xC0000005 (Access Violation)

Failure: INVALID_POINTER_READ

One dump crashes inside:

Engine_Render_Core2_PlatformPcDx12_retail.dll

then nvwgf2umx.dll

Multiple other dumps consistently crash inside:

bf6!isGlimpseEnabled()

bf6!ffxFsr2ResourceIsNull()

The crashes consistently occur in Battlefield 6's DX12 rendering pipeline.

I can provide multiple Frostbite minidumps and complete WinDbg analysis if needed.

After playing few minutes, the BF6 crashes and also kills EA App (or the other way around, don't know).

First I had issues with Javelin Anticheat, now this. So many problems with such an expensive game? Really???

Tried everything I found in internet, nothing works - there is no sign in system logs of any error. Vibe coding went wrong or what? Beta worked much better!

Hey there. Thanks for reaching out. I also appreciate you grabbing the DxDiag. After reviewing it, here's what I would suggest.

• Exit the Nvidia App completely. Don't just minimize it. Also, disable the following:
  • In-Game Overlay
  • Instant Replay
  • ShadowPlay
  • Performance Overlay
  • Freestyle/Game Filters

Now, launch BF6 and see if it crashes. If it still crashes, try reinstalling EA AntiCheat with these steps:

1. Close EA App
2. Go to your Battlefield installation folder
3. Run EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe
4. Select Battlefield 6
5. Uninstall EA AntiCheat
6. Reboot
7. Run the installer again and install it
8. Verify the game files in EA App

Also, make sure you close all overlays:

• SteelSeries GG / Sonar
• Discord Overlay
• Xbox Game Bar
• MSI Afterburner
• RTSS (RivaTuner)
• OBS Game Capture
• Logitech G Hub overlays
• Any RGB software

If you're still having trouble, do a clean Nvidia driver install. Use DDU in Safe Mode to remove the current driver. Then, install the latest Game Ready driver. Do not install the Nvidia app if possible. This is just for testing.

Your motherboard also has an older BIOS. It would be good to get it updated. However, we have found there might be an issue with ADM chipsets. Don't install the most current driver, but go back one version. This is separate from the BIOS. The BIOS should be current, but the X570 should be on the version prior to the most recent one.

I've been experiencing recurring crashes in Battlefield 6 since February 2026. I have 10 crash dumps spanning 4 months and after analyzing them I think this is a game-side bug, not a hardware or driver issue.

What I've already tried (nothing worked): 

• Updated AMD drivers to latest (26.6.2) -> still crashes
• Rolled back AMD drivers to 26.5.2 -> still crashes
• Disabled FSR / FidelityFX in-game settings -> still crashes
• Repaired game files -> still crashes
• all drivers updated -> still crashes
• BIOS updated (3.50, 4.10, 4.20) -> still crashes

All 10 dumps across 4 months have the exact same crash signature: 

• Frostbite engine, DX12 rendering path (Engine.Render.Core2.PlatformPcDx12)
• Crash triggers in EmitterGraphShaderDatabasePrime (particle shader loading)
• Always happening inside ConcurrentExecutor (the async job system)

Interesting finding: Even with FSR disabled (never been) in the game settings, the AMD FidelityFX Frame Generation DLL (amd_fidelityfx_framegeneration_dx12.dll) is still being loaded and initialized by the game. The in-game FSR toggle does not actually unload the DLL. This may be contributing to the crash — the game appears to have a race condition or initialization fault when the FidelityFX and Intel XeSS stacks are both initialized concurrently alongside the particle shader database loading.

My system:

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
• GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX (24 GB VRAM, Navi 31 / RDNA 3)
• RAM: 64 GB
• Motherboard: ASRock X670E Steel Legend
• OS: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit (Build 26200)
• GPU Driver: AMD Adrenalin 26.5.2 (rolled back from 26.6.2 — same crash on both)
• DirectX: 12

Hello, I have a problem with the game. When I turn on any MP mode, I'm in the game for maybe 5-10 minutes and suddenly the game crashes and doesn't give any errors, just nothing. I have everything updated. Before the update, I played normally and now I'm no longer able to play a good game. The PC's performance is sufficient.

I'm also attaching the system log:

Didn't work - even after clean Nvidia driver installation. At least now EA App itself can be easily restarted without manually starting its services. Still - both the game and EA app crashes to Windows without a trace in event viewer (win app log)

Hi. Thanks for sharing your DxDiag. I couldn't spot anything obvious in it that would point to a hardware or DirectX problem. One thing I did notice, though, is that Windows has logged repeated crashes involving atkexComSvc.exe, which is a background service used by motherboard utilities. While this isn't part of Battlefield itself, it's worth temporarily disabling or uninstalling it to see if the crashes stop.

I'd also suggest trying a few other things if you haven't already:

• Repair the game files through the EA app or Steam.
• Disable any overlays you have running, such as the EA app, Steam, NVIDIA App/GeForce Experience, Discord, MSI Afterburner or RivaTuner.
• If you're using XMP/EXPO or any CPU, GPU or RAM overclock, try reverting everything back to stock settings and see if the game remains stable.
