Date/time issue occurred? Since I first launched the game 10/11 or 12
Summarize your bug: Crash to desktop with this dxgi error no matter how many of the community fixes I've tried.
What type of issue do you have? Crash to desktop.
In which mode has this happened? Campaign and mp. I haven't had a single crash in a menu screen. All of my crashes come once loaded in game. Can by anywhere from immediately after spawning, to a couple of minutes, to sometimes being able to play for an hour or more without a crash, but it has always come back. Have updated BIOS, updated all drivers, reset EXPO profile, reset any overclocking to default, setting FPS limit, turning on v-sync, turning off v-sync, all options of full screen, windowed, borderless, tried running in compatibility mode, tried underclocking and undervolting GPU (this did seem to improve stability? Dunno if coincidence but after doing this I was able to actually play for 15+ mins at a time, but the next day it didn't seem to be helping at all and in fact making sure things were set to default seemed to improve stability and result in going longer without a crash). The only thing that has seemed to make a real difference that last over multiple sessions is what I set my in game graphics settings to. Played several rounds without a crash last night at med settings. Went and turned up to ultra and immediately upon spawning in crashed with the dx error. Opened game back up and changed settings back to med and I was able to spawn in and run around no crash. Didn't test how long it lasted for as I was wrapping up my play session anyway which is why I tried the ultra settings to see what would happen. Med settings have been the sweet spot of actually letting me play the game for meaningful minutes. But I was able to run the campaign on overkill and play for over an hour yet can't even get one life without crashing in mp on higher graphics settings which should not be an issue for my hardware that is less than a month old. Please make it make sense. Or just fix it and I'll be happy to be completely in the dark.
