Given the scale of reports, a clear acknowledgement and some indication of progress toward a fix would go a long way in reducing the ongoing frustration. Personally, I am unable to play the game and finish the Battle Pass I paid for due to these crashes.
The fact that this error occurs only in BF6 and not in any other games or apps clearly indicates that it is a problem specific to BF6 and is not related to players' hardware or their overclocked configurations.
Marking a thread as solved while it continues to receive reports is counterproductive and incredibly frustrating for players still experiencing the crashes. Additionally, players should not have to make adjustments or tweaks to their hardware to address an issue created by the game itself.
Why are players forced to compromise the stable performance of their other applications and games by lowering GPU voltages or disabling XMP settings, especially when these actions did not provide a guaranteed solution for playing the game, and people still experienced crashes after doing so?
Players invest significantly in their hardware, paid for the game, and expect a stable product. Therefore, it is not their responsibility to modify their setups due to an underlying DX12 or engine bug that requires urgent attention from the development team. Requesting players to attempt hardware-based adjustments is irresponsible; many are not tech-savvy and risk causing instability or damage to their systems when trying to address an issue that has nothing to do with their components and originated within the game.
It would be really helpful if the team could provide a launcher command that players can use, like the "Watchdog" command if possible, or any other debugging command of some sort that players can insert in their game launchers.
This would allow the game/launcher to send error codes and crash reports directly to the BF6 developers when the problem occurs/replicated, enabling them to investigate and address the issue at its root. Apex Legends experienced a similar issue about a year ago and successfully provided players with a debugging code that assisted them in identifying the cause of the problem.
Silence on this matter will lead to more player frustration. Please take action to address the situation and be more transparent; some players have already started to request refunds.
Thanks in advance.
Thats not right. Its not a BF6 Problem its a Engine Problem. You have the same Problems with EA FC and Madden (and other Games before). And they dont care in there either. Make youre peace with the fact that this problem is irrelevant to EA. You (we) paid already. And thats it...
