Does not look like they are fixing this at all. I have had this problem for 3 months since beta. Not even on EA radar of being fixed as nothing has been announced. All solutions people offer will not work. As you said very frustrating to try to play a game like that. Your hardware is fine, EA will run you around in circles trying to convince you that your hardware is the problem. Some cases it is but most have tried all fixes and still getting crash. Good luck, push for refund move on to better games!
If it's a driver issue then it's a good chunk outside of EA's hands and is on Nvidia/AMD to fix. More often than not these error codes are driver related so theres only so much EA/DICE can do about it till the GPU manufacturers actually make the cards play nice with the game. Look back to 2042 where AMD cards just would not work for months before 6 came out.

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t know exactly what’s going wrong here, and it could somehow be NVIDIA’s or AMD’s fault (although I highly doubt it). But here's my two cents: that argument makes no sense.
You make a game for the hardware that’s out there, not the other way around. It’s not the manufacturers’ responsibility to build GPUs/keep optimizing drivers for every single game that gets developed. If this issue were happening only on newer hardware/drivers—which is not the case—I could agree with you to some extent. But people have been reporting these issues since the beta and even on other games using the same engine, with the most diverse hardware combinations.

What I said has happened, does happen, and will happen again. It may seem odd, but thats just how it is and ultimately is down to the GPU manufacturers to fix often enough. Happens to a bunch of games for a bunch of cards and driver versions all the time.

Happens to EA games. Do not have this issue will a single other title of mine. EA is notorious for this and if they wish to release games that don't function on a specific gpu driver then they do not care about their customer experience. Waiting around until GPU manufacturer releases a driver that makes the game playable makes no sense to me. This is why EA has the reputation they have for releasing broken games. Maybe in another few months or a year this issue will be resolved and all the other bugs...by then many people will have already been aggravated enough to not even want to play...cue player count tanking ....time for some Arc Raiders!

It is no GPU problem. It never was. This Problem occurs with many Frostbite Engine Games. And only in Games with this engine. Theire problem is that this time it happens on the "Big ones". EA FC, Madden and BF6. There where never that many users who had that problem. And this Problem goes deep and effects new, old and really old gpu´s. There is something fundamelty broken and wont be fixed within weeks or months. And its EA. They have our Money so what should happen? Expect this Problem to never be solved with a discount for all of us on BF7...
