I also encountered this error in the beta, but also in the released version. I tried many things, but what made the game much more stable was finding the correct Undervolt settings. Since then, my card has not wanted to overclock itself, and I have not experienced any crashes. I have read that GPUs like to overclock themselves beyond their factory-set frequencies.
Probably everyone will have different settings that work for them, but after a long time, I was finally able to play multiple matches (over several days).
