These crashes were also plaguing me, on a 9060xt as well. Tried lots of troubleshooting and so called fixes but nothing worked.
The game would crash after 10 mins into a round, after an hour, could go 3 -4 crashes in a row within minutes or hours without a crash. Certain maps it seemed to happen on more like New Sobek city and Iberian Offensive but it did happen on other maps just less often so I took those out of rotation.
I decided to test a 5060ti 16gb card and played with 0 crashes. Out of interest I reinstalled the 9060xt on driver 26.2.2 and have not crashed in 40-50 hours of gameplay now. I did not change anything else, using the exact same settings in Adrenalin, in game and in bios.
“Nowadays, I don’t use the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition app at all—only the drivers, combined with MoreClockTool from Igor'sLAB. The newer version (2+) requires a purchase, but you can still use the free 1+ version.
In my experience, the best way to install AMD drivers properly is the following:
1) Download the drivers from the official AMD website.
2) Extract the files using 7-Zip or WinRAR. Then navigate to:
Packages > Drivers > Display > WT6A_INF Inside this folder, you’ll find a .inf file (usually starting with “u0****.inf”).
3) The most important step: completely remove your previous drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU). After that, reboot back into Safe Mode. The installation should be done in Safe Mode for best results.
4) While in Safe Mode:
Press Start + X → Device Manager
Find Display Adapter
Right-click Microsoft Basic Display Adapter
Select Update driver
Choose Browse my computer for drivers
Navigate to the extracted folder and select the .inf file whql-amd-software-adrenalin-edition-2*.*.*-win11-*>Packages>Drivers>Display>WT6A_INF>""uo****.inf""
Let Windows install the driver. Once finished, reboot your system two more times to ensure everything is applied correctly, then boot back into normal Windows.
Lastly, MoreClockTool is a minimal alternative to the Adrenalin software—a debloated option that still provides tuning, fan control, and graphics settings without all the extra features.
