ERROR CODE 0:51001S: 16054882630:-2146631680Q

Hello EA Support,

I am currently experiencing a persistent “Network Disconnected” error while trying to play Battlefield 6 on PC via Steam. The game launches without any issues, but it fails to connect to the online services and displays an error code similar to: 1:86001S:51001S.

I have only played approximately two hours so far, and since then I have been unable to access the online features.

Here is what I have already tried:

  • Installed and logged into the EA App
  • Linked my Steam account to my EA account
  • Verified game files through Steam
  • Cleared the EA App cache
  • Restarted PC and router
  • Flushed DNS and reset network settings
  • Disabled firewall temporarily for testing
  • linked the steam to a different EA account
  • Changed DNS
  • Disabled ipv6

Despite all of this, the issue continues.

My internet connection is stable, and other online services work normally. Please advise on what may be causing this and what additional steps I can take to resolve it.

Thank you for your assistance.

  • Same here. Platform on Steam and i live near HK. My ping is like 1 to 2 on HK server. And now with LAN it not working with same error  code `14:136002s:-7a` or `14:136003s:-7a`.
If i change to use mobile cellular data, it DID work to access the game server. It seem to be EA server problem.

  • I'm sorry, I'm not an EA supporter. But I'd like to help you if I can. I'll keep this as brief as possible.

    DNS problems can cause:

    - The launcher or game to think it isn't connected to the internet even when other applications work fine.

    - The TCP/IP handshake with EA servers to fail.

If it were my Windows 10/11 environment, I'd start by checking the following:

    1. Go to “Network Connection Settings” ===> “Ethernet or Wi-Fi Device Properties” ===> Verify that the settings for “Internet Protocol Version IPv4” and “Internet Protocol Version IPv6” don't conflict with firewall or network application settings. If these are set to specific DNS servers, leave Windows settings blank and select “Obtain an IP address automatically”.

If you absolutely need to specify DNS, EA uses its own DNS resolution. Cloudflare or Google Public DNS are highly compatible and work well.

    2. Disable "disabling IPv6" and enable IPv6. Microsoft recommends doing so. Incidentally, while it's unclear if Steam game servers require specific DNS settings, checking via PowerShell revealed that
steamcommunity.com returned 23.36.106.129 (Akamai Technologies, Inc.).
