I can’t play the game because Windows Defender is flagging bf6.exe as ransomware of the type "Ransom:Win64/Conti!rfn".
I’ve already reinstalled the game, but nothing has changed.
This might be connected to the Windows security update KB5094126.
After installing a couple of new Windows "KB" updates, I tried again today (June 11). The Javelin Anticheat installed an update, and now I can start the game.

I have the same issue. Removing the threat removed bf6.exe.
This is very strange
same here happened last night early morning. bf6.exe. It also appears to be tied to peripheral - keyboard goes ape **bleep** assuming because of keylogger.

am having the same Issue, tried reinstalling their **bleep** Anti Cheat but nothing happened, the game just says there is a problem with anticheat files which are "missing or corrupt"
still the win11 defender marks it as "ransomware" !!
I fixed it using a system restore from a few days ago then updated the game and now it works. I play on steam. Click the windows button> type create restore point and click create a restore point > click system restore > it should have a restore point from a few days ago click that > let it do its thing then update the game again. It worked for me.

Update defender definitions if you don't want to run full blown windows update. That'll fix.
