ERROR CODE 1:85008S:1786287017O:-2146566144Q

Encountering that error every 2-3 minutes even play the campaign or shooting range.

  • Network: IPV4 (ethernet)
  • Trying to switch to IPV6 does not help
  • Location: Russia
  • Platform: XBOX Series X

  • HI Battlefield team,

    I bought a Phantom edition few days before launch and game's been working just fine until about 3 days ago. First game started to lag as hell during matches, due to losses, then it just kicked me out and since then I can only get in game and play only with VPN on. If I try to get into the game without VPN, I receive an error "Server disconnected" or "Connection timeout" (or something similar). You can see more on screenshot below. I play on Steam, my region of purchase and where I actually live is same (Uzbekistan) and I have no idea why this started to happen, since it was working fine before. Since multiplayer is the core experience in Battlefield, hope you can help me to solve my issue.
    PC specs:
    MSI Gaming X Trio RTX 4080, Ryzen R7 7800X3D, Gigabyte Aorus B650 Elite Gaming AX motherboard, 32 gigs of DDR 5 RAM and Samsung 990 pro SSD. PC is connected directly to router through LAN. Windows 11 Home OS.

    HEre are some more error screens that I've seen so far. Still can't get  into the game without VPN...

  • Keep getting this connection error. It is becoming increasingly frustrating as I never know when it will suddenly appear. Keeps happening since Oct 10th. I keep getting a yellow circle on the top left of my screen that sometimes flashes red.

    Playing with cloudflare warp helps but doesnt guarantee a stable connection either way.

    Since around 3 days after the game launch I've been experiencing a lot of disconnections either on the game menu or during matches with the code 1:85008s, while I have absolutely no other problems on anything else.

     

    I have tried everything, but nothing is working:

     

    -Changed my LAN IP address

    -Changed the network card MAC address

    -Moved from cable to wireless

    -Changed DNS (tested several ones)

    -Reinstalled the game

    -Reinstalled EA and EPIC apps

    -My ISP rerouted my connection through another path

    -Tried Ad-hoc over a 5G (another provider)

    -Renamed my EA account to match my EPIC account (same exact name, even upper/lower cases)

     

    The error is constant, and is worsening with time - I couldn't finish a single match, but nowadays I can't even play for 5 minutes without this error pops in.

     

    In the beginning, strangely or not, whenever I changed something regarding my internet adapters (IP, MAC, moved to another media like Wireless card) the game could work quite well for a pair of days before the error returned again. Then, once happening, it would trigger constantly again, so I could once more just change the IP, and I was good for some other days.

     

    Although, today nothing is working - not even playing on 5G, which is really good where I live, and belongs to a totally different provider, ruling out my ISP.

     

    This makes me think the problem could be either my EA account or something in the game/EA App that is making the TCP/UDP sessions to be interrupted, but seems to be somehow related to the computer internet adapter parameters (Javelin?!)

     

    Has anyone tried anything different from what I have and worked?

    Same. I've tried factory reseting everyhting. to my router to windows to bios. NOTHING WORKS. I CANT PLAY

    On ps5 and I keep getting this error code. Can't even be on the main menu for 3 minutes let alone a game or I get kicked. I see that lots of PC players had this problem during the games release. I have no idea what else to do. I deleted and reinstalled all the updates and whatnot for the game and I discovered that as long as I have everything but one thing downloaded itll work, but the one Uninstalled update/content pack has to be currently being installed to play. Once it finishes im instantly booted out of the game. Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help is appreciated.

    EP1CNESS83​ connect the PS5 to a wifi hotspot running on your smartphone. Can BF6 comnect now?

    Mine is doing the same thing won’t even stay connected long enough to change gun on one of my classes keeps throwing the server disconnected message with error code 1:85008s. I have tried clearing ps5 cache in safe mode, I have completely un installed and re installed the game, I have set the ghz and done the dns, restarted my router and game countless times! The game was running fine for the first week but yesterday I turned it on and all this sh** started happening.

    has anyone found a fix that works or am I just going to give up on bf and go back to COD?
