Free gift redirected to paid bundle - accidental purchase

So sometimes a free gift pops up on the battlefield 6 store for me on Xbox and I will click into it and it redirects me to a paid bundle and im unable to redeem or see the free gift.  

Today I clicked on the free gift and went to redeem it without paying attention I hit confirm and realised it was not the free gift, and I had accidentally paid for a bundle using my battle points earned frim the battle pass.

EA support told me to contact Xbox support, and Xbox support told me to talk to EA support. 

All im trying to do it get a refund on my battle points as I dont wish to use any of the cosmetics from the paid bundle. 

EA should rectify this as I believe it is a known bug and is misleading users to pay for items they believe to be free.
