Mobile hotspots aren’t the most reliable option for online play. For the best experience, we generally recommend using a wired (cable) connection whenever possible. If the game works on one network but not on a mobile hotspot, it’s usually the hotspot/mobile provider blocking or restricting something the game needs (often NAT/type of connection, tethering limits, or VPN/Private DNS).

    • Restart your phone (hotspot) + the device you’re playing on
    • Turn off any VPN / Private DNS on the phone
    • Toggle the hotspot setting for “Compatibility/Maximize compatibility” if you see it
    • Try a different hotspot (another phone/provider) if possible

If possible, use a cable connection type.

  • Gautam-the-god which networks does the game work on?
