Hi Dewey4duke,
Sorry to hear you’re still unable to launch Battlefield 6 after reinstalling Windows. I understand how frustrating it is to go through multiple fixes and still get the same 0xc0000135 error.
Since the issue started after the Windows reinstall, please try the following:
- Make sure all available Windows Updates are installed.
- Verify the Battlefield 6 game files through Steam.
- Repair or reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables.
- Check that .NET Framework 3.5 is enabled under Windows Features, then restart your PC.
- If you installed a Windows N edition, make sure the Media Feature Pack is installed as well.
If the issue continues, please let us know which version and edition of Windows you installed, for example, Windows 11 Home, Pro, or Pro N, and whether you see the name of any missing DLL in the error message.
Hopefully we can narrow down what’s missing and get the game launching again.
