Help, I want to love BF6 but I haven't been able too since launch

I love battlefield and I've had 6 since launch but I still can't play the game online, there's some sort of glitch where my guns literally refuse to fire when aiming directly at an enemy, I don't need to reload, I don't have any weird controller settings. It's making me go nuts because ik this could be a great game to relax and recover from a surgery to but I physically can't until it's fixed so until then I have to keep playing battlefield 1
