I bought BF6 on EA APP and was affected by the outage.

I was affected by the outage the day the game launched. I then purchased it on steam to be able to play. Once it was working on EA I uninstalled it on steam and re installed on EA because I owned other BF’s on the EA app already. I was told I was gonna receive the free battle pass because I was effected by the outage, but I received nothing. 
Did I make the mistake when I installed and link my account on steam?
