KTS100 M8 Bugged, challenge won't unlock it

Is there a fix due for this?

Is there any other way to unlock this?

Any info would be helpful

As with a lot of others my KTS100 M8 will not unlock
I have completed Bullet Storm Challenge(part 1 and 2) and unlocked the M240L on the next part of challenge
So far i have tried
Restarting Game
Restarting Steam
Verifying Files/Repair
Doing requirements for challenge a second time
Levelling up the 240l to see if kts unlocks
So far nothing is working
I am playing on steam on pc and have a high spec pc (9800x3d rtx4090 strix 32gb ram nvme drive)
i was most of the way through challenge when it was lowered, probably causing the bug
I have seen EA dev saying restart steam but this is obviously not working
