Lose training path XP upon death in every game mode

Every time I die in every single game, regardless of class or game mode, my training path XP for my class drops by a large quantity. It does not seem like this intended behavior, I am not changing my class or any equipment in my class. I have no idea why this is happening, it is very frustrating. A popup appears that says +770xp (variable number) in green text but I never get any xp and the displayed XP seems to be lower by that amount of xp, so over the course of multiple deaths it usually makes its way back to 0 xp. Reinstalling did not help, resetting every setting did not help.
