Hi EA team,I would like to raise an important issue affecting Battlefield 6 players in South Africa and other low population regions. The current matchmaking and server browser system is making it extremely difficult for us to enjoy the game as intended.NO SERVER BROWSER FOR OFFICIAL SERVERS AND INEFFICIENT MATCHMAKINGWithout a server browser or efficient matchmaking, players in smaller regions are being spread thin across multiple servers. This often results in lobbies with only 8-12 real players and the rest filled with bots. It is frustrating because we actually have a decent player base in Southern Africa, but we are being distributed inefficiently by the matchmaking system. A proper server browser or a more efficient matchmaking system would allow us to join active local servers, play with real players, and keep matches populated more naturally.PORTAL SERVERS: NO REGION FILTER OR FAVOURITES OPTIONIn Portal, there is currently no way to:Favorite or save serversFilter by region (Africa is not listed as an option)Host a Portal Server, we have ZERO severs in south africa (Global Quota error)Because of this, the community cannot easily find or return to locally hosted servers. There are no South African community servers available, but they remain mostly empty because players cannot find them through the current interface.PROPOSED SOLUTIONS:Add a server browser for official servers or look into a more efficient matchmaking system designed for less populated regions. Re-introduce game server Ques, it guarantees full lobby.Include Africa as a region filter in Portal.Allow players to favourite or bookmark servers for quick access.These changes would make a huge difference for the player experience in South Africa and surrounding regions. I encourage everyone from Low Population regions to post about this issue too so that we get the attention.

From South Africa aswell and having this issue, have to play in EU with 150ms ping when there seems to be tons of servers in South Africa but with 8-16 players each.

Yes, second this. From South Africa, its massively annoying, tons of players in SA, but constant bot servers because they split the player base into different servers after the match ends.

Also had this issue, no option to filter South African or Middle East servers. Please add filter options for those.

Yep, this is a real problem on the South African servers.Plenty of players, but they are not kept in the same "lobby" between games.This leads to full servers being split into multiple games for the next round, inevitably leading to bot-filled matches.

In Portal, there is currently no way to:

Favorite or save servers
Filter by region (Africa is not listed as an option)
Host a Portal Server, we have ZERO severs in south africa (Global Quota error)

Because of this, the community cannot easily find or return to locally hosted servers. There are no South African community servers available, but they remain mostly empty because players cannot find them through the current interface.

PROPOSED SOLUTIONS:

Add a server browser for official servers or look into a more efficient matchmaking system designed for less populated regions.

Just here to share my frustration , its been weeks but we are still getting bot filled servers.

Driving me and friends INSANE! We come home after work then we sit in empty lobbies the whole time as CQB lobbies are totally broken. Can only play Conquest and Rush at the moment

thats literally it. its so frustrating. the games just dont start. the bots been broken since last tuesday. i dont always want to play conquest every day.
anyways, i have asked the agents and a lot say that the fix is being worked on. one said “worked on literally as we speak” so im sure itll be fixed soon
what you could do is also go chat to EA support straight and shout them there

In South America we have the same problem. It seems the game opens multiple servers with few players and many bots instead of opening fewer servers with many real people. Very frustrating.

Same issue is still prevalent even in the late stages of Season 1. Above solutions are all viable and I’m sure the devs can come up with even better solutions should they care to do so.
