Multiplayer locked and I have an active Game Pass with MS

All multipayer modes are locked in the menu. When I select one it sends me to subscribe to a MS game pass (with the three different levels). I already have an active account. With MS and play other games.
I’ve linked my MS Xbox account. With E. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I’ve restarted the game and my console and all combinations of the above, but still have the same issue.
anyone got any ideas?

I just purchased the game and am having the same exact issue…seeing that this issue was published over 3 months ago in this forum without any updates of it being resolved, I don’t have much hope and fear this issue is being placed on the back burner. I’m going to have to look at how I’m going to get my money back for this game purchase.
