My mouse stopped working

Whenever I join the game, I can shoot 1 or 2 magazines and then my mouse stops working. My mouse works perfectly fine in the menu's or on the scoreboard but in game it stops working I can't shoot nor zoom in. This issue started this morning, my game still worked perfectly fine yesterday evening. I've tried rebooting my pc and my game. I've reconnected my mouse several times, changed and resetted my key bindings but nothing seems to work. Can this gets fixed or what can I do to fix this?

I think I fixed it,
I went into steam and went to controller options.
There you have an option called: 'Enable steam input for Xbox controllers' --> Turn it off if its on
Also Playstation controller support was on 'enabled in games w/o support' toggle it to 'not enabled'
I did this purely to try things out and it seemed to fix the issue. I've now logged on 2 times and can sprint and still shoot/ADS.
I've never messed with these settings before so somehow something must've turned those things on or this is just purely coincidental. anyway I think its fixed. Fingers crossed if it stays that way. Let me know if it works for you guys aswell? I'll keep you updated if it stays fixed for me aswell.

Did you try running your game as an administrator from your game files like I did? Try exiting EA app and start game from within game folder and start game as an administrator

That won't help if you're playing through the EA App. That is only if you're playing through Steam. Do you have any other controllers or peripherals plugged in?

Yes I went to steam and disabled that even though I have the game downloaded through EA

I am also having the same issue. I first noticed it on Battlefront 2. I can click through menus fine but when I get in game I cannot shoot or aim but I can look around. I thought it might be a BF2 issue so I tried BF6 and its the same problem. All overlays are disabled. I uninstalled the game repaired the files and no luck. I have been able to play both games fine in the past. I was on the ea help chat for 3+ hours and no resolution. I do not have and xbox peripherals in device manager. All i have plugged in is my mouse, keyboard, and headset mix amp. I don't think the steam fix applies to me because both these games are installed with the ea app for me.

Well after changing those settings it was still wonky and sometimes failed to work,
What seems to work 100% of the time is exiting my steam as in logging off and then booting up my game from within my game folder as an administrator. (it logs me back onto steam when I run it as administrator but that doesn't matter) Haven't had the problem ever since doing this, I have to do this every time now though. So that seems to be the real solution for me.

EA_Aljo I took a last extreme measure in my troubleshooting, and somehow I have been able to fix the issue on my end. Don't ask me how but after doing a complete reboot of my system the issue has been fixed. Thank you for the help and keep up the work
