Need New zealand servers.
EA previously supported New Zealand–based dedicated servers for Battlefield titles such as BF2, BFBC2, and BF3, and they worked extremely well for the NZ player base. At that time, NZ players typically ran ~14 ms ping, which created a fair and competitive environment.
Currently, NZ players are forced onto Australian servers, where Australian players have a significant latency advantage (5–14 ms) while NZ players sit around 45–60 ms, even on fast fibre connections. This creates a consistent gameplay disadvantage, particularly in competitive or high-skill matches where latency matters.
Given the number of active New Zealand players, a dedicated NZ server is justified and would greatly improve player experience, fairness, and retention. We know this works—because it worked in earlier Battlefield titles.
Reintroducing NZ dedicated servers would be a meaningful quality-of-service improvement for the New Zealand community.
