Netcode

Updated today, again Netcode was mentioned as one of the topic fixes.

Again nothing but a placebo effect, the game still favours bad players, it actively protects bad players, every single time I see a new or bad player(also now console players for pc users, it's the same experience), I shoot him enough to drop him two or three times over, and nothing, zilch, nada, but I die no problem.

Tell me again how many players you've lost on steam alone?

Do you know how many players never migrate to the newer titles?

I've seen it for 20 years, most people stick to older titles, then just give up when the servers close.

Again, I don't know how many times you need this drilling into your heads.

STOP PROTECTING CAMPERS! THEY ALREADY HAVE THE ADVANTAGE, THEY DON'T NEED A SUPPRESSION SYSTEM TO STOP US FIGHTING BACK, AND THEY DON'T NEED THE COVER SYSTEM TO MITIGATE THE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM!!!!!!

Profit retention, Noob protection, Bad Netcode, 15 + years , a plethora of titles same issues, zero fixes.

You guys are con artists.

  • I feel thi with newer players are players doing poorly in game. They become hard to kill its like they have a shield sometimes. I will shoot hit marks and they just deleted you in one frame.

EOMM is what it is. They give the new/ bad players kills so they don't quite the game.

Now the box campers is what I call then. They play medic find a corner and set up the deployable cover it's bad when more then one. Just can't get them out. It easy to camp in this game and they even give you tools to camp.

    I full agree with you.

At the same time I've observered that an average ping player (30-50ms) gets instantly obliterated by a very low ping player (1-20ms) or by a very high ping player (80ms+).

I'm also looking at the player ping response time when I'm instantly shot and there are two scenarios:

    1. a console player no matter the latency
    2. a very low ping or a very high ping PC player

That brings me to the conclusion the lag compensation doesn't work properly, at least like it did for previous titles ...

Ok, I'm not saying you're wrong, but the game feels fine to me. You can't expect a full mag to hit all the time, because you don't have accurate information - in fact, you can't have - two people are shooting at each other, each person has inaccurate information. You are both moving around. You both perceive all shots as hits. One or both of you are wrong.

"the netcode feels awful" = bullets don't all register even if you empty a full mag into the enemy player.

"the netcode feels awful" - what does netcode feel like? The console aimbot isn't about netcode, it's about the computer locking onto players when they press the fire button. That's not netcode, that's just aimbot.

They need to get rid of that aim assist, which they purposely embedded into the game. Every single bullet hits you while you're on the run; there's no escaping it. It's the same thing with a grenade; it goes directly to you like a magnet, though you are hiding in a secure spot. There's random spawn, yet you're instantly killed when you spawn. The aim assist guides the player towards the next target. It's ridiculous, and the Dev team knows it.

The netcode is still the same; you shoot a player with an entire mag round to get a kill, yet they shoot back quickly, which feels like 1-2 bullets, and you're dead. RPGs and bullets sometimes don't register when hitting a target directly, getting killed around the corner, which could be either the netcode or the (aim assist) I know players with a turbo button on their controller, making single-shot weapons into automatic weapons, especially with the DMR, and that's not being addressed!

Since the last patch the netcode feels awful to be honest. Instantly dying from any console players no matter the skill, ping, rank etc. I don't even have time to react or to reach into a cover because they are shooting with superbullets.

I'm an average player with 3 KD with 650 hours played in this game and over 8000 hours in total in previous title - you can check my profile. So don't play the 'skill issue' card on me.

Something is fishy with this game and make me feel that BF6 favours console players over PC players.
