No more bots in Portal verified experience

A few days ago I was having fun with bots in Portal, no XP, fine to me. Now I can't play with bots, same game that I already paid for, because someone had the brilliant idea to remove the bots option even for players that don't care about progression at all.

Why you removed the possibility to even play with bots without progression? What was the decision behind this?

I like to play with my kid and show him how awesome games used to be. We play the classics the ones that were actually fun, not just trying to sell you stuff every five minutes. I want him to see what real gaming felt like, before all this live-service nonsense took over. Just good times, great games, and no battle passes in sight.
