Orange Dot Notifications Will Not Clear
Haven't we all had enough of the endless orange dots in the game? Every mission, every firearm, every season pass level... Even if you patiently click each one to get rid of them, it doesn't matter....

Community ManagerCarlos-EXR Thanks for sharing. That's a pretty interesting observation and could help explain why some players are seeing the workaround clear the notification dots while others aren't having the same success.
The correlation between catch-up unlocks, purchased weapon packages, season weapons, and attachments that are technically already unlocked but not unlocked through normal progression is useful context. Even if the workaround only takes a few seconds, understanding what seems to trigger the dots in the first place is the kind of detail that can help narrow things down.
Out of curiosity, have you noticed this happening more with Season 2 catch-up weapons specifically, or have you seen the same thing with Season 3 weapons and attachments as well? And for anyone else following along, are the stubborn notification dots showing up mostly on weapons you've recently unlocked, weapons from bundles/packages, or weapons that already had attachments available before reaching the normal unlock level?
I can't comment on season 1 because I didn't purchase the game until season 2 had just started, but this is my experience with the notification dots, at first I didn't have a problem whatsoever and when I unlocked a new Attachment I took a quick look at it and the notification dots disappeared, then I purchased the battle pass and some weapons and the dreaded dot problem started, I tried the workaround when I heard about it and it didn't work, I do love a grind so I just cracked on using the weapon I purchased and trying to unlock most attachments on all weapons, just before season 3 started and I had unlocked most of the Attachments on most weapons I tried the workaround again and it worked that time, when season 3 started even though I had unlocked season 2s additional weapons and attachments I still got some season 2 weapons catch-up challenges, after completing these challenges I had to quickly do the workaround again and it worked perfectly again, the M16 and the L115 I have not got any dlc editions and the weapon I've unlocked on the season 3 battle pass I already have the attachments for and when I unlock attachments on the new season 3 weapons the notification dots work and clear as they should.
