Re: PS5 completely crashing while playing BF6

I’ve tried cleaning / dusting, reinstalling, and restoring the licenses. Game crashes constantly where I might be able to get through a single match, regardless of mode, before my PS5 completely shuts down forcing me to unplug the power cord to get the console to start again. Did not have this issue for the first 2 days I played since release but now can’t play without risking my console crashing. Console runs other games and apps fine for extended periods

Are you seeing an overheating message or is the console just crashing?

Do you see a green screen flash before the console crashes?

Is the game installed on the internal SSD or an external SSD?

No overheating message, no light, just total shut down randomly. I have an external but the game is on internal

Same issue for me. No message, no sound, no loud fan, not even a mildly warm console. The PS5 just randomly turns off and requires an replugging.

And before someone from EA runs here to try and gaslight you into thinking it’s an ”overheating” issue - it’s not, my console is fresh out of a deep clean.

Absolutely disgusting behavior on their part.

No message, no loud console, no hot console,no warning.

It just hard crashes and requires a power cycle, starting to become concerned this will eventually damage my PS5
